I did too...and I had to resign it because so many people signed it this morning that it didn't record the signatures. But all is good now!!

Americans United for Life (AUL) is an established pro life organization with history going back to 1971.

This is very much not like the "Overthrow Obama" petition recently posted on the General board here where the party sponsoring that petition does not in any way identify themselves. Here the organization (AUL) clearly identifies itself, its board of directors, board of advisors, etc, and has a verifiable history.

As to the advisability of pursuing political action such as that pursued by AUL vs. prayer, the two are not mutually exclusive.

I would agree that our best hope lies in offering prayer and sacrifice to Our Lord and that is why I have added another day of fasting to my week for these poor preborn children.

But even in the worst circumstances it is possible to also exert pressure through the political system and abandoning that is a failure to do all that we have in our power for these poor children.
