Without thought and in large quantities they had been left unguarded in open metal ciboria (sacred vessels) before the stage of the papal eucharistic celebration. The Faith in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar - central mystery of the Catholic Church - has vanished from the hearts.
Benedict XVI celebrating the eucharist at the outskirts of Lourdes.
(kreuz.net) After the pope's mass in the Southern French shrine of Our Lady, Lourdes, severest sacrileges were committed.
This was reported by German witness and journalist Alexander Smoltczyk - Vatican journalist of the anticlerical German boulevard magazine 'Der Spiegel' - on September 14th.
After the end of the papal mass by Benedict XVI and the exodus of most of the clergy, some mass attendees approached the credences in front of the table altar, upon which countless sacred vessels containing the remaining consecrated Sacred Hosts from the celebration were placed. The sacred vessels were unguarded. Also patens with more consecrated hosts on them were situated on the credence tables.
Mass attendees [tourists? pilgrims?] threw themselves towards these credences and without any scruples starting flling their bags and pockets and coats with the remaining Sacred Hosts, for all to see, Smoltczyk. "They stuffed their bags with the holy communion fully and uninhibitedly."
According to the version of the journalist merely one bishop intervened. But only after another couple of [alleged] pilgrims had started to dip their fingers into chalices filled with remaining precious blood, in order to dab their foreheads with the contents. "Non! Non! That is not right!" - the bishop reportedly said.
At the same time - behind the back of the intervening bishop, and after countless sacred hosts had already been stolen by alleged pope devotees - an artificially blonde lady took place upon the large wooden throne, where few moments before pope Benedict XVI had been seaten, and had herself photographed in different poses.
Female scouts from northern Spain posed around the altar, as if they were drinking wine around a standing table of a tapas bar.
In the meanwhile, German journalist reports, "an elderly and frail looking lady succesfully attempted to secretly hide all kinds of used sacred linen into her bags."
And while unimaginable sacrileges against the eucharist (left totally vulnerable by the clergy who left the site in a hurry to follow the papal event into the centre of the town) took place and theft was also only few ft. away, devotees of the pope started kissed and affecting everything that the "very Holy Father" had just fifteen minutes before walked upon or been seated upon.
"This scene was unbelievable, I am still appalled", Smoltczyk writes, while rubbing his eyes.
END
Photographs of the sacrileges and theft. (Not caught in action, but the situation is represented, including the huge unguarded chalice with precious blood in order to dip the hosts.)

These sacrileges must be spread throughout the allegedly Catholic media, and throughout the traditional Roman Catholic media. It is huge.
These are the direct consequences of 45 years of neo-modernist falsification of what the sacraments, dogmas and the Church are, and of 40 years of Novus Ordo irreverence and sacrileges (communion into the hand most importantly!!). Direct consequences. Just minutes after Benedict XVI left the place. And his priests were also distributing hosts into the hands of all coming forward. (In the past in massive events like these, I think Holy Communion was not distributed, the faithful would be offered possibility to do so in the morning, while the Pontifical Mass of e.g. Cardinal Pacelli in 1937 Lourdes was without Communion rite, in order to prevent the massive movements and irreverent behaviour in masses of peoples assembled there.)
No French priests, and only one of the hundreds of bishops, who intervened. And even the bishop's reaction was insufficient, as many Hosts had been taken already. By alleged pilgrims (or mere tourists) and pseudo-Catholics praising their pop and tv star Benedict XVI, while no longer being Catholic in doctrine and at heart.
And at least the elderly ladies filling their pockets were raised with the Catholic Faith prior to the council. They have been brainwashed into irreverence by the neglect of the priests (who left the sacred Vessels unguarded) and by 40 years of Novus Ordo. _________________ Cessent iurgia maligna, cessent lites. |

Maybe because we are not familiar with this German reporter and we are cautious because we don't know whether this is true or not. Personally, I find it hard to believe. Also, notice that the photos are re-created. Didn't anyone actually photograph or video tape it? |

I am both (especially the latter), but what more can I say? Other than that it will provide more "ammunition" for BLEEPS such as Father(s)[sic] Moderator of Traditio.com. |

Did you ever wonder what would happen if every cardinal and bishop were hooked up to a polygraph and asked whether they believe in the Real Presence? I do not believe they believe. _________________ Adrian, how did everything that was so good get so bad? |

I dunno. I think maybe sometimes Jesus makes sure that this kind of thing doesn't amount to anything. Who knows. Anyway the best policy is to flee the Novus Ordo. They have the buildings. |

"Nobody seems to be interested or shocked here?"
I'm interested and shocked...but not surprised. Did anyone really think this kind of stuff would cease with the end of JPII's pontificate? These papal Masses have become an occasion for sacrilegious behavior, and the current Pope seems oblivious to the abuses going on under his nose. Sorry to sound harsh, but it's all very depressing to me. _________________ “Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!" |

I have just finished reading a wonderful book, published in 1908, on the miracles at Massabielle (Lourdes). The whole book is permeated by the most profound reverence and humility, but when celebrations are described, they are usually solemn masses without communion. I enjoyed this book, which is written in French, and wish that Lourdes was like this today. I believe it has been a vulgar, unedifying place for a number of years - its web site is hugely depressing. How many of those girls clambering over the tatty remains of the Pope's celebration, recall Our Lady's incredible answer to Bernadette's question: 'What is your name?' I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION. How many of those youngsters, these days, even know what that answer means? Sad. But there are many Lourdes grottos around the world where one can worship without all these distractions ushered in by the Beatle-Popes. _________________ +Mary has said: My Immaculate Heart will triumph. |

One would hope these were people who didn't know better, but I have a feeling it was a mix of both, people who knew better and people who didn't.
What ever the case may be, it's scandalous!
Why didn't the clergy that was present make sure this didn't happen? |

The Novus Ordo clergy were too busy following the tv cameras, so they did not care about the Eucharistic Lord being present there. They wanted to follow the papal circus and constantly be on tv. I fear that was the case.
As to the thieves stealing Our Lord from the ciboria: I am sure the older ones among them knew that Catholics believe the sacred Hosts is the Lord Himself. They probably were raised as Catholics (traditional pre-conciliar Catholics that is). The younger girls from Spain cannot be blamed: they were raised in the "new" Conciliar religion, with the pope as a mere pop star, and the eucharist as a meal, and with devotion to Our Most Blessed Mother and Queen as 'mere' "tradition of grandma and the Middle Ages". I fear that was the case.
Modern Lourdes cannot be compared to the Lourdes prior to 1958-1962. At the time I am told, it was utter reverence, people crept upon their knees while receding from the churches and basilicae with tabernacles, and there were no 'huge meal' fests, and Holy Communion would be provided early on in the morning by their own curates, not during massive events.
PLease spread this report of sacrilege among the ("modern") media. _________________ Cessent iurgia maligna, cessent lites. |

Could it be because the NO clergy are generally more involved in creating scandal than with stopping it? |

This fiasco in France should surprise no one. Look at how the Blessed Sacrament is treated at many Novus Ordo churches today? With EMs, Communion in the hand, etc., it's all become very pedestrian. Why would we expect anything different from our church leaders? _________________ “Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!" |

The photos are "staged"? How do you know?
I think you probably do not want to face truth and reality even in "glorious" papal Novus Ordos.
This has desecrated the shrine of Our Lady at Lourdes. Where for centuries people came to pray, where High Masses were celebrated with utmost piety and dignity, taking care not even one small particle of the Holy Host would be lost somehow. And then this sacrilege.
And you attack the reporter who brings the story? _________________ Cessent iurgia maligna, cessent lites. |

Because of this note RIGHT ABOVE the pics you posted: "Not caught in action, but the situation is represented..." You must have missed it.

Any reporter who stages photos for his story, especially inflammatory and sacrilegious photos, is a poor reporter. |
