Are You Fed Up Yet?

Someone who has never visited the Chapel at has no idea of what awaits them when they finally make the choice of going there – especially if they attend the Latin Mass there. To say it is peaceful and quiet is true but that belies the sense of mystery and peace of soul that gives one the feeling that truly they are in the company of God who is present on the altar.

There are other churches, of course, some of which even claim to be Catholic but in trying to meet the modernist standards of language or, standing or sitting when they should be kneeling, inevitably fail to meet expectations of what it really means to be in the presence of Almighty God and the Saints. Latin the official language of the Church, His Church, the One He gave to his apostles, presents no challenge because there are Missals with Latin on one page and the English equivalent on the other facing page.

As well, the beautiful sounds of Latin vowel sounds in hymns and songs give an awakening to the heart and soul of man that cannot be matched in other spoken languages. And, when the fathers perform a Solemn Mass with the additions of incense and prayers not spoken but sung from the Altar, the experience truly transports one to the heights of Heaven. All it takes is a willing heart to experience the wealth of the graces available at this unique location.

Yes, there is no doubt that this is truly the worship that God has Himself designed for His Church on earth through his Divine Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be Honor and Glory, now and forever, Amen. And to those Catholics out there who remember what it was like to worship under such auspices before all the changes we say: welcome home, Dear Brothers and Sisters, Welcome Home. This is not the “Extraordinary Form,” this is the Only Form. God bless you all.

P.S. Don’t believe their detractors however many they may be.
