New Apostolic Exhortation: FrankenPope Is Patronising the Gospel

New Apostolic Exhortation: FrankenPope Is Patronising the Gospel – 4/8/18 (April 8) leaked the original Spanish version of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation “Gaudete et exsultate” which is due to be published on April 9.

The exhortation rejects a caricature of contemplative life, “It is not healthy to love the silence and avoid the encounter with the other, to desire rest and reject activity, to seek prayer and to despise service” (26). This statement follows the unfortunate pattern of Francis to compare fresh apples with rotten pears.

Talking about the Gospel’s moral teaching – such as condemning adultery – Francis presents another caricature by criticising the attempt “to reduce Jesus’ teaching to a cold and hard logic that seeks to dominate everything” (39).

Supposing that he is more clever than Holy Scripture, Francis claims that the biblical authors had a “limited conceptual baggage to express some realities” suggesting that they may have confused an epilepsy with a demonic possession (160).

However, he graciously concedes that at least some of the cases narrated in the Gospels may still have something to do with the devil.

  1. [NuVatican’s heavy-hand strikes again at InforVaticana!]

Update from InfoVaticana on its publication of “Gaudete et Exsultate”

InfoVaticana has published today a world first, in another example of its leadership in religious information in Spanish: The Gaudete et Exsultate document , to which we have had access without breaking any relationship of trust and without breaking any embargo.

Shortly after publishing the exclusive, one of the Pope’s closest collaborators has contacted us to formally beg, on behalf of the Pope, to unpublish the document until tomorrow.

As children of the Church we have valued the petition that has been made to us and, not being something that when we were unpublishing we were betraying our vocation of service to the truth, we decided to withdraw the apostolic exhortation, which will be available again tomorrow at noon.

I am sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you understand this decision.

  2. A trad-friendly priest mentioned a few days back to look for something from the Motel 6 on “holiness”. If he’s right, I’ll put him in for a WKRP in Cincinnati Les Nessman “Silver Sow Award” (for excellence in farm news, particularly hog reports).

  3. Whatever the latest “must read” from you-know-who is about, I’ll bet if a good medical lab tested it it would find not a few traces of “theological fecal matter” floating around in the brewed-up mix.
    Eeeeeeewwwww! 😷😷😷
