Besties Huddle: Pope and Fr. Spadaro

Uh-oh. Sounds like Fr. Spadaro’s been @triggered…

February 20, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Papal confidante Father Antonio Spadaro retweeted a call for EWTN to be severely censured “until they get rid of Raymond Arroyo.”

The call for an “interdict” to be imposed on the Catholic media empire started by Mother Angelica came from Anthony Annett, Assistant to the Director at the International Monetary Fund’s Communications Department.

An interdict is essentially one step short of excommunication. It bans a person or people from accessing most Church Sacraments.

Annett called for an interdict to be imposed on EWTN because of a February 15 World Over segment.

“Make no mistake,” tweeted Annett, the show’s discussion of a recent Spadaro speech and ultra-liberal Cardinal Blase Cupich “represent ‘total war’ on the papacy of Pope Francis.”

…Arroyo was a close friend of Mother Angelica. He is the author of numerous books. As confusion has mounted during Pope Francis’ reign, his signature show, The World Over, has analyzed troubling developments in the Church. Arroyo often does this with the help of Father Gerald Murray and Robert Royal (the “papal posse”).

Spadaro, a Jesuit who is often called the pope’s “mouthpiece,” frequently criticizes critics of Amoris Laetitia’s ambiguity or the Francis pontificate. He is the editor-in-chief of La Civiltà Cattolica. Read the full report HERE

REMNANT COMMENT:  Good for Raymond Arroyo! What Father Spadaro–the “Pope’s Mouthpiece”–doesn’t realize is that the shark has been jumped. The jig is up. The cat’s out of the Vatican’s bag. The world is onto them. Get rid of Raymond Arroyo and he’ll become an even more outspoken critic of the Vatican dog and pony show. Consign him to the Gulag and a dozen others will step up and take his place. Nobody is falling for it anymore, Father Tony….nobody!

Pope Francis has awakened the sleeping giant. All glory and honor to God.

(Note to Raymond Arroyo: If worse comes to worst and you find yourself living under a bridge somewhere, eating out of dumpster and hiding from Vatican hitmen–well, you’re always welcome at our fire.)

Raymond has been appearing on “The Angle With Laura Ingraham” on FOX News Channel, every so often. He will offer a Critical Eye.
One wonders if Spadaro might prefer Papal Yes Man Michael Voris.

Holier than thou? Holier than “anti-pope” Francis-One? Well, we might hope so, inasmuch as “His Holiness” apparently has a careless addiction to “off-the-cuff” caustic remarks, which seems to reject a proper respect for long-established traditional Catholic doctrine—particularly concerning the sacraments and the Decalogue. Unholy remarks from “the top” tend to squash expected respect at the bottom? Are we witnessing a floundering incompetent “shepherd of the flock”?—or do we see the motions of a Modernist “agent-provocateur”? This is a multi-century-old problem, again brought to light by Pope St. Pius X, in his 1907 warning-encyclical “Pascendi”; and also with a 1910 requirement of an clerical oath by all Religious against the destructive tenets of Modernism (this oath, lately and wrongly, abrogated by Paul VI). Evidently this religious requirement of an oath against Modernism (carefully defined by Pius X) was falsely taken, insincerely, by so many liberals in the Church—but apparently no matter of Mortal Sin in the Confessional? But in due time beware, for “God will not be mocked”? Council of Vatican-1 (1869-1870) ignored this serious problem of Modernism. This issue appeared again in Council of Vatican-2 (1963-1965), but was side-lined by the Modernist faction, in which the once-condemned Modernism was re-designed and fumigated to pass the smell-test. Oh, and by the way, it seems apparent that the present mission of Francis-One aims to sanctify the many errors of “pastoral” Second Vatican Council, and thus make it appear as somehow infallible, rather than merely “pastoral”—all the while holding absolutely no belief in infallibility, in any shape or form? Why? Because belief in infallibility tends to eliminate global theories of evolution, so necessary to Teilhard de Chardin’s celestial dreams in Outer Space (which eliminates the Book of Genesis). And so, what of the Decalogue’s Mosaic ban on lying? Oh, come now, Machiavelli, back in the time of the Renaissance, explained that lying is occasionally, and simply, a human necessity, with no apology—except when it seems necessary. Let us hope that that the walls of the Vatican have not been breached again by the Renaissance. But then, if so, Francis-One would spar with Machiavelli and finally would find his match? Meanwhile, seeing the “Francis-Problem”, the 265 former popes of history turn in their graves.
P/S Moderator, if possible would you please pass this essay to Editor The Remnant.

While Arroyo was and is clearly good at his job, I’ve mostly seen him as a defender of the V II revolution. But clearly in the last few years, he has woken up to the reality of what is going on in the Church and is willing to speak out about it. And he is clearly ticking off some people. Good for him. He’s doing more good than the Catholic Answers crowd and the rest of the enablers of the revolution could ever hope to do. Way to go Raymond!!!

In January, Francis quoted from one of his favorite novels, The Brothers Karamazov, when speaking on truth. I found it odd he chose Dostoevsky instead of Scripture. Remarkably I saw little outrage from Catholics or Jesuits.

We know from Dostoevsky’s own journal that he was plagued with doubt of the existence of God his entire life. The Brothers Karamazov is said to incorporate one of the most powerful atheist manifestos ever written. And Dostoevsky, through numerous of his works, leveled withering accusations at the Catholic Church and the Society of Jesus. He went so far as to suggest atheism is the child of Roman Catholicism, Catholicism is anti-Christ and the secret of the Jesuits is that they don’t believe in God.

Well, in this world where down is up and wrong is right, Francis, the first Jesuit pope, recommends reading and rereading Dostoevsky. To what end? Well, I can only guess that he intends to insinuate doubt into the minds of the faithful. Recall his nonsensical statement in November of 2016 that doubt is the key to a life of faith.

And what to make of the Jesuits? I offer Alyosha’s response to his bother Ivan in The Brothers Karamazov: “We know the Jesuits, they are spoken ill of, but surely they are not what you describe? They are not that at all, not at all… They are simply the Romish army for the earthly sovereignty of the world in the future, with the Pontiff of Rome for Emperor… that’s their ideal, but there’s no sort of mystery or lofty melancholy about it… It’s simple lust of power, of filthy earthly gain, of domination-something like a universal serfdom with them as masters–that’s all they stand for. They don’t even believe in God perhaps. Your suffering Inquisitor is a mere fantasy.”

Thank you so much, Mr. Matt, for sharing this fiasco with all of us on your site!! We all need to pray for Raymond — pray for his safety – and for the safety of his family – and that he has the courage to withstand the evil onslaught hurled against him, without caving into “their” demands for silence. We need your voice, Raymond — and if you have to part ways with EWTN, the Lord will find you other venues and outlets for the truth He has helped you see! Finally, let us all stay close to Our Lady — She has already crushed the head of the demon – even though we are living through a period of incredible darkness right now. The Triumph of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart is certain — it was promised at Fatima. “In the End, My Immaculate Heart will triumph!” Ave Maria!

Spadaro missed one important point – it isn’t ” total war against the papacy of Pope Francis”……….. it is total war against whatever evil is guiding the papacy of Pope Francis.
Calling for the “Interdict” [i.e. one step from excommunication] for standing up for our beloved Lord and Master doesn’t hold the same terror as it has done previously if only because the Schism is almost upon us and those who are now working so hard to damage the Church will be outside anyway.
Those who are left will be the smaller, but more loyal and true, Remnant Catholics who love and honor Christ the King.

Raymond has had Cardinal Zen on his show a few times and I think he has been very impressed by the cardinal. This thing with the Church in China, and Frank allowing the communists to choose bishops seems to really bother Raymond, too. I really appreciate what he is doing with the “papal posse” on The World Over. As someone mentioned here, he does seem to have been “red-pilled” concerning the pope and his gang of thugs and it is great to see someone with such a large platform taking them to task for their misdeeds.

The rest of the EWTN group appear to be loaded down, though, with the usual neo-catholic, Vatican II garbage that smothers the novus ordo church. Wouldn’t be surprised if the head honchos there
attempt to reign in the papal posse.

Francis and his minions are acting as if the Catholic Church was a South American junta No real surprise.
EWTN has been getting soft criticism from some in Catholics radio and from some supposedly orthodox apologetic apostolates. Not a surprise – many of the converts who make up a large part of these apostolates are close to being in state of Papalotry. They came into the church with a too grand and broad understanding of the Papacy. To admit they were wrong is untenable for most and so this odd situation where many supposedly orthodox Catholic apostolates are strong defenders of Francis, AL and accompaniment..
The concern is the money and will progressive groups try to co-opt EWTN by gaining financial leverage over it? That happened in recent years with one famous West Coast apostolate.
The International Bank connection is interesting. The globalists and one worlders such as Soros want to use the Catholic Church as the face of a new one-world religion. Totally accommodating the secular mindset that dominates the elites. Indeed the Catholic Church, even before Francis, was well on its way to becoming that vehicle. Conspiracies theories are just that, but some wonder at the sudden resignation of Benedict and the election of Francis. Was Francis put there by Soros and Soros-like forces.

Raymond Arroyo had better be prepared to be fired. Mark Shea and Simcha Fisher were fired for revealing their basic leftist contempt for both Middle America and anything Catholic that was less liberal than John Paul II at Assisi. All liberal Catholics with a history of dealing with EWTN, and many moderate Novus Ordo types, will demand Arroyo’s head for EWTN to ‘prove’ it is not an ultra right wing threat to decency.

If EWTN has sufficient gray and testicular matter, it not only will back Arroyo, but it will make plans to televise Traditional Latin Masses and have various shows that cover topics such as the heretical Spiritual Franciscans and the Communist and gay Jesuits. I

Don’t listen to the threats and name calling like I heard recently, that old and unscriptural saying, “Oh, they are trying to be holier than the Pope.” I have always hated that slogan as it always seems to smack of putting down those who take the higher ground that all Christians are called to: holiness. Kind of like in the Garden of Eden or like kids making fun of the kid who will not take the wayward path with them. It was a priest who said it recently but I didn’t have the words to challenge him. I hope he reads this post.

He is God’s gift to the Catholic world. He is a voice of truth. He is carrying the work of Mother Angelica, Fulton Sheen. He is brilliant , well researched, well informed and can handle any situation with God’s grace. He is also a good singer, author and Journalist with deep passion for the catholic heritage. I love his books. He is a great role model for the catholic youth. We have to have courage to speak and face the truth despite obstacles. We have to carry the work of the Saint’s, missionaries, Martyrs, doctors of the church. The world secular media, entertainment industry ,international politicians, Atheist, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, New Agers and relativistic pagans are very hostile to Catholics and Christians for their own beliefs and ideologies and we have an internal crisis of laid back cradle Catholics who are catholic in name and not in practice. Many Catholic youth are leaving their faith for Atheism, Islam and paganism to fit in with their peer group. Families are broken, smaller and lost in their bubbles of the internet, Gadgets . We have to pray that we are not divided by our egos, politics and follow Jesus and serve his church militant, his mystical body.

Arroyo is probably the best NEWS program on EWTN. He is poltically Independent which I cannot say for any of the others on EWTN or Relevant Radio. The news casters just get their news from the major networks. I don’t believe they do any independent research. They sure do not know anything about Foreign Affairs. That is why I cannot make donations to these Catholic TV or Radio stations.

I myself wouldn’t be too concerned until something a little more formal comes out of the Vatican.

Though that move by Spadaro probably did a little bit to set back EWTN’s attempts to canonize Mother Angelica.

Great time to be a Catholic.

  2. I 747 Pilot , call for an interdict on, Spadaro, Francis, all the gay clergy, all Jesuits, one and the same with gay clergy, Cupich, Tobin, and McElroy, for warefare on the Teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ! I demand the above mentioned, except for me , be excommunicated ,NOW and Sanity be brought back to the Church by dumping the ridiculous edicts of Vatican 2 ! This is only a start ! All appointments by Francis-Bergoglio, need to be voided , changes fostered by him, reversed and he and supporters sent to a llama ranch in Argentina!

  3. Skipper, I hate to disappoint you but I just received word from attorneys for Jose’s Llama Land & Resort that an injunction will be sought if any of those people attempt to visit. The lead lawyer was most pleasant but explained that Argentina plans to make the day Jorge flew off to Rome for the 2013 conclave a national holiday. Sorry, they won’t take him back…

    • I just heard Marion Le Pen at CPAC and she was lamenting the decline of the Catholic Church in France 🇫🇷 and there are those in France ,who want to take back their country! Italy 🇮🇹 has a Donald Trump like politician , who wants to kick out the migrants and he is in the lead at the polls. There is no room in Europe for the likes of Francis-Bergoglio, and his Commie supporters! Gpmtrad do you think with your contacts we could get Venezuela 🇻🇪 to take Bergoglio, all commies there and the dictator there loves him ! The three Stooges,Cupich,Tobin and McElroy could go to the Resort Ranch in Argentina and work there ! Cupich,of Seamless Garment Fame, could design leather seamless chaps for the Vaqueros, Tobin of the Nuns in the Bus 🚎 fame, could drive the tour bus during Gay Pride Week on the resort and since he like to pump iron so much could work in the weight room at the resort the rest of the time. And McElroy, of Creation Covenant Fame, could give tours to the Antarctic to check on Global Warming! Since he was From San Francisco and a Levada protege, he will enjoy the men’s steam and bath 🛀 house ,especially during gay pride 🏳️‍🌈 weeks sporting events! Gpmtrad, I know with your charm and persuasive personality you could con the llama resort into taking these clowns 🤡 for the good of the Catholic Church ! Thank you 🙏🏻

  4. I’m dialing as I type, Skipper! Uh, oh … Joe Friday’s on call waiting, too. What do I do, now???

    • Finish your “call” with Joe Friday, gpmtrad, and publish the “message” on AQ.

        • GPM I have been trying to locate Jack Bauer and Chloe O Brian , to re activate the CTU computers 💻 so we can cross reference the Marxist Masonic clergy that have destroyed this Church since Vatican 2. They need to be identified and either arrested and or defrocked! Our immediate goal is to stop 🛑 the three Stooges from going out and pushing this ridiculous Amoris Laetitia Nonsense ,which is in strict violation of Church Law and we must 🛑 stop the phony canonization of Montini! I have tasked Jack Bauer to find photos of Montini when he was Archbishop of Milan in various homosexual bothels there and pictures of him in his hot tub at the Vatican with his homo actor boyfriend . We have to act quickly becaiuse the weasel USCCCP is turning against pro life groups in Texas ! The Church is being turned upside down by Soros and his Marxist henchmen ! Needless to say Bergoglio has to go also ! GPM , move quickly, for time is running out ! Spadaro has spies everywhere!

  5. Including here in So Cal, Skipper! I found a marinara stained pasta noodle shaped in the “sign of the S” stuck on my front door upon returning home last night.
    /
I thought something was up after getting a call from a “Sergeant Gordo” last week and, at the last full moon, was sure I saw a Jesuit in a mask and cape, rearing his Fresian stallion and waving a sword, up on a hill not very far away.
    /
They’re out there, alright. And I think they’re getting spooked.
    /
    “Outta the night
When the full moon is bright
    Rides the one
    “Che” knows – Spadaro!”
    /
    Andale! Arrrriiiiiibaaaaaa!

  6. No doubt, the mark of Spadaro ! I will have the sauce and noodle analyzed at CTU for a DNA match. We have his DNA on file. We have been watching that Commie Twit for a long time now. One of our operatives has released a Top Secret Tweet by Tobin, which puts him in a compromising position. He is claiming it is to his sister . Not getting much traction with that denial, since it was sent in the middle of the night. We have satellite tracking on McElroy, it is only a matter of time until we catch him. Our next target needs to be that San Antonio bishop and his gay boyfriend. He is the one who ran the Poor Clair Nuns out of the diocese ! To bad Col. Travis and Jim Bowie are not still alive. We still may need to drop this guy off at the Alamo ! I am still waiting for pictures of Montini and his actor boyfriend at the Vatican. If Spadaro becomes a problem, we will take care of it. I think the Good Father Rutler has Spadaro in his sights. CTU out !

  7. LOL! Roger that, Skipper. Joe called. He’s been in conferences for three straight days. He and Gannon are booked on a 747 out of LA to Rome this weekend. Stay tuned.
