GEORGETOWN MISSES THE MARK EXPLAINING SIPHONED LOVE SAXA FUNDS

University’s excuse raises more questions than it answers

WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) – Georgetown University claims missing funds are being returned to a student pro-marriage club. But lawyers for the group say something still doesn’t add up.

The nation’s oldest Catholic university stands accused of cheating Love Saxa — a Catholic student group faithful to Church teaching on marriage and human sexuality — of donations and channeling the cash on to campus pro-gay clubs.

Last week, conservative legal non-profit Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) sent a letter to Georgetown alleging misappropriation of funds, demanding the Jesuit school investigate the matter, restore the donations immediately and punish those responsible for the theft.

The next day, university spokesman Matt Hill told The College Fix that “all gifts to Love Saxa have been identified and are being deposited to Love Saxa’s account.”

“When the university receives a gift designated by the donor for a student group with access to benefits, the gifts are allocated with a designated work-tag that ensures they reach the intended recipient,” he explained.

“Because a Fall 2017 gift was the first donation of its kind to Love Saxa, no established path existed,” Hill added.

But Georgetown’s story “raises more questions than it answers,” said ADF attorney Travis Barham.

“Love Saxa has been operating with a fully functional set of accounting codes since at least the 2016–2017 school year,” he noted. “Even if there was a problem with the account codes, that still doesn’t explain why some of the missing funds ended up in the accounts of other organizations.”

By affirming Catholic teaching — promoting the institution as a sacred union between one man and one woman directed toward the care of biological children — Love Saxa incites the wrath of campus gay activists.

In September, Love Saxa President Amelia Irvine published a letter in the university’s student paper The Hoya explaining the group’s message of “healthy relationship and sexual integrity … premarital sex, gender complementarity and same-sex marriage.”

Campus gay activists and their allies reacted by filing “hate” charges against the group, slamming its orthodox Catholic position as “unquestionable intolerance,” which “clearly excludes same-sex couples” and “fosters hatred.”

They denounced the Catholic group’s stance a “disgrace,” labeling it “archaic,” “cissexist,” “homophobic,” “transphobic,” “queerphobic,” “oppressive,” “dehumanizing,” “hateful” and “dangerous” and demanded Love Saxa be defunded.

After an hours-long grilling by Georgetown’s Student Activities Commission, Love Saxa was cleared of “hate” charges.

But ADF Senior Counsel Tyson Langhofer observed, “Almost immediately, Georgetown officials began mistreating Love Saxa in a different, more insidious way: by misappropriating donations.”

Church Militant reached out to Georgetown on Thursday but has received no response.

  1. It has long been the goal of the anti-Catholic secret societies to infiltrate and take over the Catholic Church. Gaining effective control of the administration and faculty at places like Georgetown and Notre Dame has been one of their greatest triumphs. Going back to the days of the Alta Vendita, the Illuminati, and the freemasons, these anti-Catholic efforts continue during the Bergoglian pontificate.

That anti-Catholic homos control how monetary donations are used and transferred to aggressive anti-Catholic organizations at Georgetown University tells you all you need to know about the decadence of the modernist cabals manipulating colleges of the Jesuit order in the U.S. These actions are criminal and constitute theft. There is a solution – stop sending money to these anti-Catholic institutions.

Sadly, at the moment, there is no one to call in Rome to complain about these anti-Catholic crimes.
