The Diocese of Feldkirchen is located in south-central Austria. Although a bishop may permit a non-Catholic Christian to serve as a reader during Mass, the homily is to be reserved to the priest or deacon, according to the 1993 Directory for the Application of Principles and Norms on Ecumenism [“Wink, wink”; the press release says “exchange of pulpits and homilies” emphasis added – AQ moderator Tom].
