Shrinking majority of Americans believe that biblical account of virgin birth of Jesus depicts actual events [or plan to attend Christmas services]

[Thanks to Bible-demythologizing “scholars” as well as other liberal/modernist theologians, pastors and preachers]

Catholic World News – 12/14/17

According to a new survey, 66% of Americans believe that Jesus was born to a virgin—down from 73% in 2013. Only 55% of those born after 1980 believe in the virgin birth. 51% of Americans, and 40% of those born after 1980, plan to attend church on December 24 or 25.

  2. Yep. The old Remnant cartoon about Zombie Catholicism comes to mind.

What’s worse is seeing those to whom one explains a point dealing with something as basic as the use of Latin in official Church prayers change their expressions, wrinkle their noses and yell: check please, waiter!
