[The arch-heretics Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchton at the foot of the Cross – not the reality of the faithful Blessed Virgin Mary and St. John the Apostle!]

The Vatican issued a stamp to honour “five centenaries of [the unfortunate] Protestant reform”.

The picture shows German reformers Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchton at the feet of Christ’s cross.

It is taken from Protestant All Saints’ Church, commonly referred to as Schlosskirche (Castle Church) in Wittenberg, the location where Luther allegedly posted his ninety-five theses in 1517.
