Cardinal Marx has “great consensus” with Protestant Faith

On Saturday at an ecumenical event in Bochum, Germany, Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx called on Catholics and Protestants “to unite increasingly“.

According to German media, Marx said, “One must stop talking about a separation of the churches, because there are important agreements in the Faith.” There is widespread doubt whether Marx, a liberal-relativist who belongs to Pope Francis’ Council of Cardinals, is still fully aware of what the Catholic Faith is all about.

The German Protestant Church (Evangelische Kirche Deutschlands) about which Marx was talking, promotes a theological relativism, disrespects the theological authority of the Bible, promotes gay clergy and gay pseudo-marriage, is pro-abortion, does not believe in the seven sacraments, is sedevacantist[!?], refuses Our Lady and promotes illegal mass-immigration.

  1. “One must stop talking about a separation of the churches, because there are important agreements in the Faith.”

Once again, laypukes have to give cardinals lessons in BASIC catechism:
Faith = the virtue by which we believe ALL the truths that God has revealed, on His authority, because He can neither deceive nor be deceived.

The conclusion inevitably follows: Unless you believe ALL the truths of the Catholic Faith, you have no Faith at all.
Therefore, one cannot even talk about “important agreements in the Faith” — because the ONLY important thing is that you accept ALL the Faith.
NO individual agreements on articles of Faith are really important (as in removing separation from the Catholic Church).
You either believe that God speaks through His (Catholic) Church, or you don’t. If you do, you believe all that the Church teaches. If you don’t, you don’t have Faith, and are therefore not only not a Catholic, but not even a Christian, in the strict sense, since you don’t follow Christ in the Church He founded.

Now, Cardinal Marx(ist) may have “important agreements in faith” with un-Christian “Churches”…but if so, HE, precisely on that account, is objectively no longer Catholic, and no longer has THE Faith.
As for me and many others, we choose to remain loyal to Christ and His Church, and so we have no important agreements with un-Cathoiic “Churches”.
