On Friday morning Pope Francis presided Mass for the maintenance staff of Vatican City State in a factory building inside the Vatican. A table was put inside the hall instead of an altar. Movable walls covered the industrial machines.

German Radio Vatican explained that Francis preferred a “place of everyday life” instead of one of the many churches inside the Vatican “including St Peter’s”.
