Cardinal Burke “Still Hoping”

Cardinal Burke “Still Hoping”

[If I were His Eminence at this point re: dubia, I would be “hopping mad” rather than “hoping against hope”]

Cardinal Raymond Burke believes that the Church of the classical Roman Rite will grow, because its holiness attracts many young families and young people.

Talking to French “TV Libertés” he stated that this holiness is “less visible” in the new Mass because the Liturgical Reform “stripped bare the form of the rite”.

About Amoris Laetitia the Cardinal said, that it produced a serious general confusion among bishops, priests and faithful alike. After Amoris Laetitia the dispositions to receive the sacraments of penance and Holy Communion are not clear any more, he added.

Burke is “still hoping”, that Pope Francis will respond to the dubia of the four cardinals.

  1. I suspect unrequited hopes aren’t going to accomplish much.
    Anyway, take it away, Dusty…

  2. If the Dubia Brothers aren’t reluctant to slap on some blue face paint, THIS might work…
