  1. No doubt, the finger-waving Italian bishops (and at least one South American bishop in residence in sunny Nuovo Roma) are shocked, dismayed and profoundly apologetic for their dhimmitude, by now.

    Right?

  2. UK: Muslims screaming “this is for Allah” murder 7 at FIVE locations in London

JUNE 3, 2017 BY ROBERT SPENCER

How many people have to die before it is recognized that the UK’s strategy of evasion, denial, appeasement and accommodation isn’t working? Britain, and the free world in general, must fight back effectively, or this will be just the beginning. The willful ignorance must end.

Madame Prime Minister: I tried to warn you. You banned me from the country, while allowing in a steady stream of jihad preachers. You now have the Britain you have made, and that you wanted. If Britons don’t swiftly remove you from power and replace you with someone who will speak honestly about the jihad threat, they will continue to reap the rewards of your treason.

Jihadi terrorists shouting ‘this is for Allah’ kill seven in knife frenzy at ‘FIVE’ locations in the capital: Hunt for men with 12in blades who began the rampage by mowing down revellers on London Bridge,” by Ekin Karasin, Mailonline, June 3, 2017:

Jihadi terrorists shouting ‘this is for Allah’ have reportedly killed seven people after mowing down up to 20 with a white van on London Bridge and stabbing revellers with 12-inch hunting knives.

The men, described as being ‘of Mediterranean origin’, reportedly drove the van at 50mph across the bridge, then jumped out and began ‘randomly stabbing people’ along Borough High Street in central London at 10pm.

One woman said she saw three people with what appeared to be their throats cut at London Bridge. There are also reports that a bystander was shot in the head in the crossfire and at least seven people have been stabbed.

One person has been killed at London Bridge – and one of the casualties is reportedly a police officer.

The gang had metal canisters strapped to their chests and two of them were reportedly shot dead by armed police, witnesses said. A search is underway for the third man.

The terrorists also tried to storm into a pub in the nearby Borough Market, where a man was reportedly stabbed five times in the chest.

Police responded to a third incident in Vauxhall, south London, which later turned out to be an unrelated stabbing. Officers are telling people ‘you must run, hide and tell’.

A man has been arrested, as Sky News reported live from Borough High Street.

There are also unconfirmed reports of gunfire on Southwark Street.

50 armed police have entered Monument station with police dogs and bystanders have been told to run. Bank and Monument tube stations have been closed.

Police are advising people who live within the London Bridge cordon to stay somewhere else tonight if they can.

Terrifying footage from the scene shows police officers shouting ‘Clear the scene now!’ as panicked pedestrians flee. London Ambulance said multiple resources were attending the area.

The car that the three men were in is believed to have veered in an ‘S shape’ across the bridge and has driven towards the Shard and is south of the river. There are unconfirmed reports that it is a B&Q and Hertz van.

‘The men said this is for Allah as they left the van and attacked victims. There were definitely three people sitting at the front of the van,’ London Bridge eyewitness Eric Seguenzo told BBC News….

  3. Spencer’s response to May is absolutely correct. The mayor of Londonistan also needs to be tried for treason in the same docket, alongside her.

  4. This just now struck me as an oddity: why do they bother accounting for the dead and injured if they have no resolve to prevent jihadist incidents? The early death toll was 7, but is now 6. That’s the banner line on Drudge et al. Why?

Why do we pretend to care how many were killed and injured? The authorities have no intention of stopping future killing sprees, so they’d just as well stifle the headlines so folks wouldn’t get upset about it. It might be better to run it like a lottery, and just set aside a jackpot for those who get maimed, and for relatives of those who die. At least, it might make a good episode for The Twilight Zone.

Jim Comey, former head of the FBI, is about to testify how Trump caused him indigestion. Why not tell us why he stopped agents from compiling data on ragheads who raised red flags? Comey doesn’t give a hoot about the little guys who got slaughtered by jihadi in Boston, Orlando, San Bernardino, etc.

I pray Trump holds the line on stopping the influx, and on keeping our police and FBI on the backs of potential murderers.

  5. UK: PM Theresa May says “things need to change,” then repeats false and failed analysis that jihad is “perversion of Islam”

Theresa May says “far too much tolerance of extremism in our country,” and that “when it comes to taking on extremism and terrorism things need to change.” Then she repeats the same false and failed analysis, that the jihad “is a perversion of Islam.” Her refusal to identify the motivating ideology behind these jihad attacks means that she will never confront this enemy properly, and never deal with the real source of the incitement to violence. And so for all her tough talk, she is doomed to failure.

Theresa May says ‘enough is enough’ in wake of London Bridge terror attack as she confirms General Election will go ahead,” by Jack Maidment, Telegraph, June 4, 2017:

Theresa May has vowed that “enough is enough” as she urged people to go about their lives as normal after seven people were killed and almost 50 injured in the London Bridge terror attack.

The Prime Minister said that there is “far too much tolerance of extremism in our country” as she set out plans to crackdown on terror.

She said that while the Manchester Arena attack which killed 22 people, the Westminster attack in March which left four people dead and the London Bridge attack are not directly connected there is now a “new trend” in the threat the UK faces as “terrorism breeds terrorism”.

The Prime Minister said that the UK must do more to tackle the threat posed by “Islamist extremism”.

Speaking in Downing Street after chairing a meeting of the Cobra emergency committee, she said: “It will only be defeated when we turn people’s minds away from this violence and make them understand that our values, pluralistic, British values, are superior to anything offered by the preachers and supporters of hate.”

Mrs May paid tribute to the emergency services who responded to the latest attack with “great courage and great speed” as she confirmed that many of the injured are in “life threatening conditions”.

She said: “Our country has made significant progress in disrupting plots and protecting the public.

“But it is time to say enough is enough. Everybody needs to go about their lives as they normally would.

“Our society should continue to function in accordance with our values but when it comes to taking on extremism and terrorism things need to change.”

All of the major political parties have suspended national campaigning ahead of the General Election and Mrs May said campaigning will resume tomorrow with polling day on June 8 to go ahead as planned.

She said: “As a mark of respect the two political parties have suspended our national campaigns for today but violence can never be allowed to disrupt the democratic process.

“So those campaigns will resume in full tomorrow and the General Election will go ahead as planned on Thursday.”

The Prime Minister struck a defiant tone as she said that “things need to change” in the fight against terror and that the UK “cannot and must not pretend that things can continue as they are” as she suggested that longer sentences could be introduced for terror offences and pledged to review the Government’s counter terrorism strategy.

She said the London and Manchester attacks are connected in “one important sense”.

“They are bound together by the single evil ideology of Islamist extremism that preaches hatred, sows division and promotes sectarianism,” she said.

“It is an ideology that claims our Western values of freedom, democracy and human rights are incompatible with the religion of Islam.

“It is an ideology that is a perversion of Islam and a perversion of the truth.

“Defeating this ideology is one of the great challenges of our time but it cannot be defeated through military intervention alone.”
