“Ben” is Responsible for “Frank”

Whoa! Back up the truck. What’s that you say? What about invincible ignorance? What about not judging others? What about impeccability in the Church?

C’mon folks, get real. This guy who went to Vatican II in a business suit and consorted with every manner of liberal theologian on the planet, both Catholic and non-Catholic – who told Archbishop Lefebvre that he could not give him a date-certain for a Bishop to lead the FSSPX and who presided over a Modernist takeover during his papacy – who authored “Summorum Pontificum” a motu-proprio without teeth – who resigned the “active ministry of the papacy” while retaining the trappings of the office – who took back the excommunications of the SSPX bishops but withheld “canonical jurisdiction” from the Society – who, in resigning the papacy left the door wide open for the election of “Frank” to the Chair of Peter- this man we are told by some may just be the victim of “invincible ignorance.”

On top of this ludicrous scenario we are told by a leader of the FSSP, an organization established to minimize the influence of the FSSPX, a fence-sitter committed to celebrating, if asked, the novus ordo missae of Paul VI and to distributing communion-in-the-hand to those desiring such an abomination and sacrilege…we are told it is we, the hardliners for Tradition, that are the problem? All of these men who followed the venerable Pius XII in the papacy, who had not only the 3rd Secret of Fatima in its entirety available to them but the entire Vatican archives as well, cannot be the “victims” of invincible ignorance. No, they bear responsibility for what has happened to the visible Church in the 20th and 21st centuries. And, yes, we simpletons are responsible for putting up with them and with those who insist on cutting them some slack.

Thank God there are still some traditional priests, and a few bishops, left to minister to us in these modern-day catacombs. Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

  1. Phaley, ive been growing weary– ok disgusted, really– with all this talk about how Benedict is the true Pope, his resignation was invalid, blah blah blah…

In my opinion if they ever come to martyr me, and by the Grace of God i dont flee like a little girl, id rather my martyrdom be quick and not long and drawn out.

The choice between Benny and Georgie is such a martyrdom. One is a wolf Barely dressed at all, the other a sly serpent who just likes to dress up.

    Thanks for speaking sense.

  2. “And, yes, we simpletons are responsible for putting up with them and with those who insist on cutting them some slack. ”
For some of us, it is not about cutting slack or putting up with anything, it is simply about refusing to try to take God’s job from Him. It’s about refraining from judging the internal forum.
AND we don’t NEED to judge the internal forum. The objective facts of WHAT the pope and the other Modernists are doing is all we need to see the screaming need to battle them every step of the way, thrash the hell out of them, and get them the hell out of the offices they hold.
WHY do some of us find it so necessary to condemn not only the external actions of others, but also their intentions? Why do we feel a need to think that the enemy is EVIL, and not just the enemy?
Some of us perhaps need to examine our consciences for bitter zeal?
Statements like this need to be considered seriously:
“The whole thing is absurd. People are functioning under the fog of the neo-Hegelian “Weltgeist” of modernist dialectic, dialectical materialism, neo-Kantian subjectivism, situation ethics, and Frankfurt School social theory programming without knowing it while being prohibited from learning what Natural Law is. Even the people in positions of administrative authority and control making the decisions on curriculum don’t even know what they are doing. It is that absurd.”

    BTW, here’s a wild speculation:
Could it be that some people think that, if we grant the possibility that some Modernists are invincibly ignorant of the terrible damage they are doing, that this somehow means they can’t be punished, or that they have to be left alone to continue their drunken driving?
If so, I would suggest that this is hidden Liberalism. It is typical of a Liberal to think that if anything bad happens to him, when it’s not his fault (as he thinks!), there’s something *wrong* with the world, and yes, something wrong even with God. It’s typical of a Liberal teacher, for instance, to have a horror of punishing the innocent by mistake.
The fact is that “Those whom God loveth He chastiseth”.
The fact is that *everyone*, even the totally innocent, and even the saintly — and especially these — have to take some hits in the school of hard knocks.
If some Modernists are invincibly ignorant, that does not mean we shouldn’t kick their axes just as hard as if they were conscious perverts…maybe harder, because the Modernist black box blocks out the light of reason. As the Scripture says: “A whip for a horse, and a snaffle for an ass, and a rod for the back of fools.”

  3. “AND we don’t NEED to judge the internal forum. The objective facts of WHAT the pope and the other Modernists are doing is all we need to see the screaming need to battle them every step of the way, thrash the hell out of them, and get them the hell out of the offices they hold.”

All I want to say in response is that Our Lord kicked some a**** when he threw the money-changers and perverters of doctrine out of the Temple but the modern-day church IMO has lost its nerve in dealing with this class of people who literally get away with the murderof innocent souls (abortion) and heretical teachings (all are saved) leading others to Hell. Everyday we see abominations of desolation of the most egregious kind in modern-day, so-called Catholic churches, including the welcoming of LGBTQ-XYZ sympathizers, so-called “women priests.” giving lectures in Jesuit venues (I refuse to call them churches) and the Body and Blood of Christ being ;iterally “handled” with disdain in the paws of the brethren. Yes, this would hace been cause for the laity to “throw the bums out” many years ago. There have been instances in the pre-Vatican II history of the Church when such acts would have been cause for immediate correction, including physical removal of those responsible, if necessary. But, this is the era of the “church of what’s happening now” with the “Reverend Leroy” or, God-forbid, his girlfriend in charge.

No, it’s a crisis of the most horrendous kind when the laity puts up with such hideous blasphemies instead of throwing these purveyors of iniquity out of Catholic churches on their keesters. They, these purveyors of iniquity, simply can’t hide behind such curtains like the internal forum which, by the way, I never heard used in my pre-Vatican II days. But, I understand that I am a relic of the old days and I just don’t fit in with the modern-day church or its post-Vatican II leanings. And, I thank God for that.

    • Very well said. I happen to agree with all of it…even this part:
“these purveyors of iniquity, simply can’t hide behind such curtains like the internal forum”
Because, again, their interior intentions, whether good or bad, are relevant only to their own personal salvation. A madman who is going around killing people at random may not be at fault for his insanity — but he needs to be stopped, with force if necessary, and all the force necessary.
Few people of any days have heard of the distinctions of internal vs. external forum, subjective vs. objective sin, or material vs. formal sin. In normal times these are useful only to priests, philosophers and moral theologians. These distinctions, however, are a part of classic Thomistic philosophy and theology, not Modernism.
      Pax tibi, frater.

  4. Ditto, Colonel and NIN. Pax vobiscum!

Here’s one suggestion, and we could start here on the Left Coast!
