BRASÍLIA, Brazil – President Michel Temer of Brazil has fled with his family from the presidential palace, claiming it is haunted.

The Brazilian magazine, Veja, reported on March 11 Temer left the Palácio da Alvorada, the president’s residence, because he “felt something strange there.” He commented, “I wasn’t able to sleep right from the first night. The energy wasn’t good.”

He further noted his wife “felt the same thing,” adding, “We even started to wonder: could there be ghosts?” Apparently, their seven-year-old son didn’t share his parents’ impression. They commented he loved to run around the spacious building.

They have since moved back to the vice-presidential residence in Brasília, called the Jaburu Palace, where he lived with his wife and son since 2011. He took over the presidency from [the leftist pro-abort, pro-homo] Dilma Rousseff when she was impeached in August 2016. She commented earlier in an interview that she didn’t believe in ghosts but “a relative of mine will not go into the hallways because they are afraid of running into [one].”

Temer is a practicing Catholic and has a doctorate from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.
