Updates on the SSPX and the Vatican

[Updates on the SSPX and the Vatican]

From: Gloria.TV News on the 6th of March 2017

Disclaimer: The official website of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, dici.org, has denied that there are plans in the Society to buy the church Santa Maria Immacolata all’Esquilino, or that the Vatican is helping them to find a fitting church in Rome. The website also denies that there are plans to move the Society’s headquarters to Rome.

Secret Agreement? According to Anonimo della Croce there is an excellent relationship between Pope Francis and Bishop Bernard Fellay, the superior general of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. The website writes that Fellay has secretly agreed to recognize the controversial document Amoris Laetitia and is willing to introduce the Novus Ordo.

  1. Willing to introduce the NO Mass? Recognize a Mortis Laetitia? I’d have to see it to believe it. And I left the SSPX because of the tendencies of the Prior for the State of Fl, and have lost a lot of respect for Bp Fellay this last year. But this seems a little unlikely. I’ll eat my hat if it turns out to be true.

  2. I think it’s sheer nonsense, quo. And I have no connection with the SSPX at all.

The “resistance” contingent, loaded with bleeps! and worse, pumps out agitprop just as stupid and baseless as the DNC and its own 24/7 war on the new Administration.

    • The bleeps have a point. How can a man who isn’t Catholic be Pope? Only a Catholic Pope can pass this judgment as a fact, of course, and the bleeps who maintain as fact, and teach that Bergie isn’t Pope are overstepping their competence in my opinion. But exactly how, in any way, shape or form, can anyone defend that Bergie is Catholic?

  3. I can let you all know as a matter of fact it is pure fiction, set out to discredit Bp. Fellay and create more mistrust amongst the faithful. That is the whole purpose of the fake news being published. And as far as I can see, there a blind and ignorant fools who seem willing to believe anything as gospel, even before it has been verified.

Bp. Fellay, for the record has openly written to the Officials in Rome stating explicitly that not only does the SSPX reject the Novus Ordo Missae, but that any priest of the conciliar Church who would ever visit any of its houses will not be permitted to offer the Novus Oro Missae.

As for accepting Amoris Laetitia, well not even the conservative liberals in the Vatican accept it; let alone expecting us to be those holding to the ancient faith are willing to embrace it .

The author takes his readers for fools. Please publish that trash elsewhere !

  4. Well, it looks like “Fra Cristofero”, has just blown his cover. The confirmation or disconfirmation of this will come soon.
(BTW, I am not a fan of Bp. Fellay, but truth is truth and lies are lies. We’ll see which is which).
(BTW again, and with apologies to Vinent Joseph: It is not just because someone says “I can let you all know as a matter of fact it is pure fiction” that it is, as a matter of fact, pure fiction. After all, only “blind and ignorant fools” would be “willing to believe anything as gospel, even before it has been verified”. We would need some kind of verification that Bp. Fellay has in fact written to Rome making the statement you claim he made.)

  5. I have no connections with the SSPX, but respect them greatly.
IMO, the first part could be believable (ie buying the church in Rome) the second part about Bishop Fellay recognizing Bergoglio’s heretical Amoris Laetitia and promoting the Novus Ordo is about as believable as AG Jeff Sessions being in cahoots with the Russians. In other words, fake news.

  6. As the bible has said, the number of fools is infinite.

Once more the SSPX has responded to all the hype and lies.

What might have missed some peoples attention is the excellent clarification on present relations with Rome and a clear reiteration of the solid principles that the SSPX has always operated under, which was posted on the SSPX USA site:

    sspx.org/en/news-events/news/bp-schneider-sspx-vatican-relations

It is a commentary on the interview of Bp. Schneider.

All in all don’t deceived by the hype a lies which all work to create the spirit of mistrust and division. Which is the tool of the devil. Divide and conquer.

  7. As someone who is affiliated with the Society, our priests here are still hammering away. We just had six sermons on the six apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. We have had sermons on abortion and the problems with the VII and the NO,even at a requiem mass, among other topics. Easter duty and Ember days have been brought up. Forty days for Life will see us participating with a Society priest leading our efforts in the nation’s capital. We’ve stopped abortion in our city. We fought against homosexual “marriage” which the legislators shoved down everyone’s throats in record time. We’re currently fighting against euthanasia and pornography with the priests’ approval. We have our annual pilgrimage honoring Our Lady along with processions for Christ the King and our patron’s feast day. The parish church here is open from just after 5am (about an hour later on the weekend) until 9pm. There’s all day Adoration every Thursday plus all night Adoration for First Friday/First Saturday.
Things are not perfect and there are problems and struggles. That’s how things are here.
