Hermitess, Marilyn, Died Monday, December 5

With thanks for your prayers, I learned last evening that Marilyn, who had been consecrated as a hermit after years of delay, passed away on Monday, December 5.

If and as I learn more I will update. If the information I learned is accurate, she was a widow in her 70s and of exceptional piety. It also seems she died in the presence of her family, somewhere in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan.

  1. Requiescat in pace/May her memory be eternal.

  2. O gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the soul of Thy handmaid, Marilyn. Be not severe in Thy judgment, but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames, and do Thou, O merciful Savior, send Thine angels to conduct her to a place of refreshment and peace. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

  3. Prayers for Marilyn’s soul. RIP.

  4. Thank you, Zuzu and AT.

I await any further details but don’t expect to hear too much more or anytime soon.

If I do, I will pass along whatever I learn.
