Elements of Christian Warfare

Say what? Is there such a thing> What about love your enemies and your neighbor as yourself? Well, warfare occurs when putting into practice the aforementioned practices only results in capitulation to the enemy. You see, my friends, the elements of Christian Warfare are the same as for any other type of warfare. First, Know Your Enemy and the enemy in our case is the Devil himself. No, the Devil doesn’t care one whit for us and his only objective is to oppose the Almighty God that we worship, all the while knowing that he will lose in the end. Second, Seize the Initiative. If we let the enemy act first, we are immediately at a disadvantage. Remember, he has powers far in excess of our own. Third, Hit with Overwhelming Force. How? Use the aid of the one person who has power over the Devil, Our Lady Herself. If we allow ourselves to be distracted from the task at hand, we will perish to be sure. These same elements can and should be used in our battle with enemy here on earth and we all know who that is in the final analysis. May God be with Kellyanne Conway as she “takes up the sword” in our defense.

Donald Trump Names Pro-Life Advocate Kellyanne Conway as Campaign Manager

Donald Trump’s presidential campaign today made major shakeups in an attempt to catch pro-abortion Hillary Clinton, who is leading both national polls as well as surveys of voters in key battleground states. Trump has appointed Kellyanne Conway as Campaign Manager and Steve Bannon as Campaign CEO.

    Here’s more:

Stephen Bannon, executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, an outspoken Trump supporter and a former Goldman Sachs banker, will assume the new position of campaign chief executive. At the same time, Mr. Trump also is promoting Kellyanne Conway, a veteran GOP pollster and strategist, to become campaign manager. Ms. Conway has been a campaign adviser for several weeks.

Longtime Republican operative Paul Manafort, who joined the campaign late in the primary season, remains campaign chairman. But the reset is designed to bulk up a structure that many Republicans have complained wasn’t adequate for the rigors of the general-election campaign.

Mr. Trump’s campaign has fallen further behind Democrat Hillary Clinton in most national and battleground-state polls in recent days, and some Republicans had been hoping for a course adjustment before the traditional Labor Day kickoff of the general-election race.

“I want to win,” Mr. Trump said in an interview Tuesday night in which he disclosed his hires. “That’s why I’m bringing on fantastic people who know how to win and love to win.”

Conway recently joined the Trump campaign after working for a super PAC that supported Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, but Mr. Trump wanted to promote her and liked the idea of elevating a woman as his campaign manager, one aide said. She is likely to travel frequently with the candidate.

One key pro-life leader praised the move — noting that both Conway and Bannon are pro-life advocates.

“I have known and trusted Kellyanne Conway my entire professional life,” Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews.com today. “No one is better at understanding what real people are thinking and how to connect with them than Kellyanne. She and Steve both understand the importance of effectively communicating the pro-life position and leveraging the passion of the pro-life grassroots in winning elections. No two could be better positioned to help Donald Trump to take on and expose Hillary Clinton’s extremism in this general election.”

How are you holding on there, Paul? Are you going to survive this election? I feel your angst. Join me in a glass of wine?
