Landmark Case Involving Catholic Official’s Response to Sex Abuse Set for Retrial

Msgr. William Lynn was convicted on one felony count of child endangerment for failing to protect children from a priest with a known history of abuse. [His conviction was overturned by an appeals court in late 2015, and the overturn recently upheld by a higher court.] Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams said he has no doubts about retrying the case next May.
