I was informed only a few hours ago that one my daughter’s dearest friends, Julie, is awaiting test results for possible cancer.
There simply is not a sweeter kid in this entire pagan wasteland than Julie.
She’s battled diabetes with tremendous courage, been hospitalized for it way too many times, and yet you would never know that she had a care in the world.
I cannot adequately express how her generosity to me, personally, by simply giving me a number of furnishings when I arrived out here in Hell, west of the Mississippi, five years ago, and which have, to this day, been a true Godsend.
I am asking everyone to beg St Teresa of Avila and her latest “crown jewel,” Sr. Cecilia Maria of the Holy Face, OCD, Santa Fe, Argentina, to intercede for poor Julie.
I hope many of you can someday visit San Diego and meet Julie in person.
She’s an absolute doll. And she’s been there for my little girl and me when we really needed someone in our corner, many a time.
I will mention this since I think most of you who know me well enough, after 9 years plus on this site, to “get it.”
I have next to zero “contacts” out here. Except for my daughter, her two closest friends ( Julie being one of them, of course ) and two neighbors.
I told one of those neighbors, a retired Marine field grade officer, about what I’d heard from my daughter about Julie.
Well, as always out here, the sunsets are lovely.
But not this one. Not tonight.
I really lost it.
But, only for a moment.
But I kept in mind that my AQ pals have time and again obtained, even though it’s by way of request of the most undeserving, miserable sinner ( except for Martin Luther and Barack Obama – oh, and Hitler-y, too!) some amazing favors over the years.
I sure hope God will honor that confidence, this time, for an dearly lovable young Catholic lady, Julie.
Thank you, one and all.
She’s one youngster that really deserves a real break!
God bless and reward all of you for your charity.
