A stunning angry outburst from Pope Francis: Avoid ‘rigorism’ on divorce and remarriage, Pope advises family conference

[Another hissy-fit from Frankenpope]

Catholic World News – June 16, 2016

Pope Francis tore into priests who refuse to baptize the children of unwed mothers– referring to them as “animals”– during a June 16 meeting with participants in a Rome conference on the family.

It is “pastoral cruelty” to refuse baptism, the Pope told the group, which was gathered at the basilica of St. John Lateran.

In answer to a question about the message of his apostolic exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, the Pope said that the Church should avoid “rigorism” in responding to the pastoral needs of Catholics in irregular marital unions. “The Gospel chooses another way,” he said: “welcoming, accompanying, integrating, discerning, without putting our noses in the moral life of other people.”

The Pontiff said that the two sessions of the Synod on the Family were intended to help “putting a face to the issues,” so that Church leaders would understand the danger of “turning faith into an ideology through nicely landscaped system which ignore grace.”

  1. Bergoglio, IMO, is not just, through his words and actions these last three years an apostate and a heretic, but also has serious problems as far as mental issues go.
He’s either IMO possessed, mentally ill or both.
One thing is for sure, he shouldn’t be occupying the Throne of Peter!

  2. Frankenpope didn’t say that, because The Wanderer and ChurchMilitant websites didn’t report it: “Only the news that fits our views!”

  3. Priests are not supposed to put their noses in the moral life of people? Is this for real?

    • Not according to the official Vatican transcript, which has no record of such a quote, only:

“This demands that we develop a family pastoral ministry capable of welcoming, accompanying, discerning and integrating.”

Despite what the media at the event recorded and reported – such as Ines San Martin of Crux:

“The Gospel chooses another way: welcoming, accompanying, integrating, discerning, without putting our noses in the moral life of other people.”
