Bishop Kevin Farrell publicly commits the sin of calumny by calling Catholic bloggers “haters”

Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Diocese of Dallas has publicly sinned and should make a public apology. Instead of denouncing homosexuality in the clergy, instead of denouncing the crime of abortion, instead of pointing out the evil of contraception, instead of preaching doctrine and opposing the scourge of heresy that is rampant in the Church – Farrell decides to launch an attack on Catholic bloggers.

So many, many great evils. Yet, what does Farrell decide to do? Ban Holy Communion in the hand? Issue a pastoral letter to the faithful on the sanctity of marriage? No, all Farrell can do is drag himself to his computer and type up a calumny entitled, “Spreading hate in the name of defending the Faith”, against a number of bloggers whom he has never met.

Notwithstanding, Farrell has decided he knows what is in these people’s hearts, and he calls them “haters”. Farrell, along with Thomas Rosica, CSB has evidently forgotten the words of advise of Pope Francis, “whom am I to judge”? But of course, Modernists are clericalists, Pharisees par excellence. Agree with them and they are all doves, disagree with them, point out their errors and heresies, and out come talons of hate and vitriol.

Farrell has committed calumny against Vox Cantoris, whom I know personally. I can assure readers that Vox Cantoris has love in his heart for Christ and His Church. Is Farrell aware that Thomas Rosica extolled the arch-heretic Gregory Baum on Salt and Light TV? One must ask how a person who praises an heretic can then speak about defending the Faith and conversion. No, Thomas Rosica is the last person who should be speaking about “conversion” in his sad tirade.

As to Farrell, his calumny is scandalous and sinful. He takes the word of a priest who threatened to sue a Catholic blogger for telling the truth and defending the Church. He takes the word of a priest who extolled an heretic.

Farrell owes the bloggers a public apology.

The attack by Bishop Farrell on so-called “haters” was pure Alinsky

The man (Thomas Rosica) who ridicules Catholic bloggers, praises heretic ex-priest Gregory Baum

Bishop Kevin Farrell, the enabler of the homosexualist movement within the Catholic clergy, has seen fit to endorse and promote a pathetic attack on Catholic bloggers by Thomas Rosica, CBS.

Farrell and Rosica – not to mention Fr. Longenecker – seem to be quite reflective of the approach that Saul Alinsky recommended in his Rule for Radicals. No where do these clericalists actually address the real issue: the undermining of doctrine. Instead, they paint with a broad brush all Catholics who take their Faith seriously, and who oppose the recent innovations coming out of Rome. Longenecker, to bolster his position, created a strawman Catholic blogger by including serious bloggers who raise serious questions with eccentrics and crackpots. The question is, why has Farrell, jumped on the Rosica bandwagon? He gains nothing and loses everything.

This small, clericalist, modernist sect that gazes in on itself, deluded that it controls the narrative seeks to ridicule and mock; trying to pick a target, personalize etc. Pure Alinsky.

Let us consider from Alinsky’s Rule for Radicals

Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.

Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

It is shameful, when one sees a bishop of the Catholic Church joining priests who clamor about alleged “haters”. Thomas Rosica has a past of extolling the arch-heretic Gregory Baum. From him we have had no repentence, no conversion, no apology. Yet he wishes Catholic bloggers to convert and repent of their “hate” etc. One may ask the Vatican spokesman: to what are they to convert? To the form of “Catholicism” that Baum professes, and which Rosica praises?

The Catholic Church is collapsing all around us, and it is these treacherous bishops who are the leaders, the enablers of this collapse. Rosica and Longenecker are but strident, noisy bit players in this obscene tragedy.
