Cruz Hits A Home Run; Trump & Others Strike Out

In watching the coverage of the horrendous attacks in Brussels by the Islamic Terrorists, I am struck by the fact that the only one who advocates the complete destruction of ISIS is Ted Cruz. He even said carpet-bombing of ISIS-held areas would be necessary. The other presidential wannabees don’t even come close to Cruz in recognizing the threat posed by the Satan-inspired creeps that wander about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Right now, he’s got my vote. As for Hussein Obama, he’s down in Cuba holding hands with the Castro brothers – butchers of Cubans by the thousands. And what in blazes happened to NATO? Where is their response? Wimps – the lot of them.

  1. I may have considered voting for Rubio, since he was a Catholic. There is no chance an Evangelical can get my vote. They are mad especially in their preaching Apocalyptic end of days beliefs that the greatness and fulfillment of the world is found in the State of Israel. It is , in fact, a Nazi Regime. Often the people who most think they are immune to Nazism are the ones that don’t see it in themselves. Palestinians- both Christian and Muslims- are constantly persecuted. The Nazi Israeli State restricts and taxes Church property- policies which Saladin and the Turks had established and honored until the Nazi State of Israel came to being. I remember that as an old college professor of mine once said: “More Catholics were killed by Protestants than by than any other group in history”. The British and the Hugenot French aided the Muslims to destroy Rome during the times when the Turks were advancing. So Protestants are no better.
If Cruz, is a traitor to his Hispanic religious culture. If he cannot be trusted to respect his culture, he cannot be respected to preserve [or tolerate] our Catholic cultures.
If I have to vote for a Republican, it will be for Trump. At least he has some respect, if only lip service, for the Christian and Muslim Palestinians. And, justly he is against any terrorist acts- acts which the fanatic Protestants- such as Evangelicals- should be justly accused of- and put to trial.

    • To each his own, my friend.

    • Rubio is not a Catholic. He belongs to a baptist church in addition to a Catholic Church in Florida. What a neo-con phony!

    • And, justly he is against any terrorist acts- acts which the fanatic Protestants- such as Evangelicals- should be justly accused of- and put to trial.

Under what system of justice? Maybe one that excuses Palestinian suicide bombers? I don’t get you. You talk like one of those who wants to drive all the Jews out of Israel, or something draconian like that. I can’t see that as a Catholic position.

      • I don’t want to shock you brother, but the Catholic Church has been opposed to the recognition and existence of the State of Israel for almost all its existence. And only until Vatican II did it ever consider the Jews having a New Testament Right to the Holy Land. There is nothing “Draconian” about removing a bloodthursty Naxi Regime and with a false Faith that worships a race “uber alles” and glorifies even the execution of the Son of God. Furthermore, to clarify, not all Palestinians are Muslim. If some commit crimes, it is out of desperation. These terrorist suicide acts are not done for mere religious reasons. It is primarily a nationalist struggle. The Ukrainian Nationalists are no better and we treat them like something legit.

        • Israel is a masonic U.N created state run by pagans who reject the True God ( The Holy Trinity) and the True faith (Catholicism). Yeah, they don’t like the Muslims, another pagan group, which is good but they are no friends to traditional Catholics. I agree Ghebreyesus with most of what you say. This article is prety interesting. While not liked by the elites and the NWO crowd it is IMO very clear and compelling. www.forbes.com/sites/jonentine/2013/05/16/israeli-researcher-challenges-jewish-dna-links-to-israel-calls-those-who-disagree-nazi-sympathizers/#5ca95fa9db23

        • Wow. You’ve had two tries to condemn suicide bombing, and now you’ve excused it. I can’t trust your moral compass. (Is Brussels OK? Paris? Boston? Boston’s the land fascist pro-death pro-homo puritans. The Tsarnaev’s can be excused, too, right?)

The original crime of setting up a Zionist state belongs to the League of Nations. At this point, after several generations of Jews have been born there and have built a nation, it would be a crime to displace them and dispossess them of what they have. I don’t know what the answer is. We don’t have to recognize the Zionist state, but we do have to recognize their right to life and to the wealth they’ve worked to create.

  2. “…I am struck by the fact that the only one who advocates the complete destruction of ISIS is Ted Cruz. He even said carpet-bombing of ISIS-held areas would be necessary. I am absolutely NOT struck by Cruz’s using this opportunity to position himself as the tough, go-to guy. But sorry, while he speaks tough against Planned Parenthood, rails about carpet bombing ISIS, and is making the most of the Brussels attack, the man is pro-birth control, pro-GoldMan Sachs (Remember, his wife draws an exec salary from the ‘man’. Ted let himself be tainted by accepting financing from these folks. And following the “money” is often the best means of understanding what a person actually espouses). Ted is also not above letting himself be anointed and proclaimed as some form of Savior.

That, despite the requisite need to quash ISIS, and the TENETS of Islam that are at the heart of them, represents, “… Satan-inspired creeps that wander about the world seeking the ruin of souls.” It’s called patient. Veiled. Evil disguised as good.

Ted is the one who says that it is not true to say that Islam hates us. Well, the tenets of Islam are diametrically opposed to Catholicism and the Democracy of our United States.

If Ted were honest, he’d admit to the threat of GoldMan Sachs ideology, Muslim ideology as contained in the Koran, and the danger of pretending that the “Prosperity Gospel” is anything close to following Christ.

    • You Cruz haters are an enigma to me. No credit for his pledge to audit the Fed when President. No credit for opposing torture. No credit for naming Islam as the enemy (yes, he even said it today). Just invective on top of invective. Please take it over to FR or some hotbed more conducive for your venting.

  3. I guess what it boils down to is: who is the most believable in dealing with the Islamic Terrorist threat? For me, it’s Cruz but others may feel differently. Such is the beauty of living in our country. Cheers.

    • Cruz may come off as more hot to take care of the “ISIS” threat, but he scores a zero on being real about the tenets within Islam that legitimize ISIS.

The man minces political and waxes religious to court his voter base.

That’s why, to me, the most believable in dealing with the Islamic Terrorist Threat is the one who doesn’t pretend that it is only an “Extremist” problem and not an Islam reality.

So while Trump may appear bombastic, he is not afraid to name the actual problem – ISLAM – not just the convenient, ISIS.

  4. Dear All:
There is only one candidate who believes in a moratorium on Muslim immigration and is against nation building which got us into this mess in the first place, and that is Trump. We are involved in endless wars, killing and maiming innocent people through our ongoing meddling. Bush and Cheney should be tried for war crimes. Cruz advocates “carpet bombing” which which will end up murdering thousands of innocent women and children. You may think we are free in the great US of A, but we are not with our absurd political correctness. We are living in a land that is very strange indeed to me where values have been turned upside down. Do I think Trump is the answer? No, but at least he enables me to vent against a society I no longer recognize. I don’t see the beauty. Sorry.

    • …I find it interesting that “now” since Brussels there is a more strident Cruz who states we need to be more vigilant with regard to who we allow in the country.

Trump, despite political incorrectness, named the big, fat GOP elephant in the room before it was fashionable. Same thing with securing our southern border.

Trump is not the answer, but he’s a beginning.

  5. One. thing. I’m not in favor of is any attempted conspiracy to deny Mr Trump or anyone else the nomination. Let the voters speak and let the results stand. There’s still some time left before the gavel falls and who knows what the end result will be.

  6. Trump: Brussels an “armed camp,” today’s jihad attacks “just the beginning”

    MARCH 22, 2016 BY DEACON ROBERT SPENCER @ www.jihadwatch.org/2016/03/trump-brussels-an-armed-camp-todays-jihad-attacks-just-the-beginning

“I will tell you, I’ve been talking about this a long time, and look at Brussels. Brussels was a beautiful city, a beautiful place with zero crime. And now it’s a disaster city. It’s a total disaster, and we have to be very careful in the United States, we have to be very careful and very vigilant as to who we allow in this country.” He is right about this — whatever else he is wrong about. This is why his campaign is resonating with so many people.

Donald Trump: Brussels ‘just the beginning,’” by David Wright, CNN, March 22, 2016:

(CNN)Donald Trump reacted to the explosions that rocked Brussels Tuesday morning, describing the scene as a “disaster” and warning that “this is just the beginning.”

The Republican front-runner, who has made immigration and security issues central to his 2016 presidential bid, discussed the reported suicide attacks in an interview on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends.”

“I will tell you, I’ve been talking about this a long time, and look at Brussels,” Trump said. “Brussels was a beautiful city, a beautiful place with zero crime. And now it’s a disaster city. It’s a total disaster, and we have to be very careful in the United States, we have to be very careful and very vigilant as to who we allow in this country. ”

    Trump ‘fine’ with waterboarding

In an another interview, Trump also said he would be “fine” with waterboarding Salah Abdeslam, one of the leaders of the Paris attacks several months ago who was just captured in Brussels, in order to get more information on potential future attacks.

“Well I’m not looking to break any news on your show, but frankly the waterboarding, if it was up to me, and if we changed the laws or have the laws, waterboarding would be fine,” the Republican front-runner said on NBC’s “Today” show. “I would say they should be able to do whatever they have to do.”

“You know, we work within laws. They don’t work within laws — they have no laws. We work within laws. The waterboarding would be fine, and if they could expand the laws, I would do a lot more than waterboarding,” he said.

Trump has vacillated in his campaign about whether or not he would pursue using waterboarding — which is considered torture and thus illegal. After getting criticized by former national security officials, Trump said he would instead seek to expand the laws, presumably to make such tactics legal.

    ‘Armed camp’

On Fox, he described Brussels now as an “armed camp.”

“If you went into Brussels 20 years ago, it was like a magical city. Now you look at it, it’s an armed camp,” Trump said. “You want to lead your life, you don’t want to be living in an armed camp for your whole life. And there is a certain group of people that is making living a normal life impossible.”

Though the identity of any suspects related to the explosions is not yet known, Trump was quick to link the attacks to Muslim refugees and migrants from the Middle East who have flooded into Europe as a result of Syria’s civil war and turmoil in the region.

“It’s going to get worse and worse. In my opinion, this is just the beginning. It will get worse and worse because we are lax and we are foolish — we can’t allow these people, at this point we cannot allow these people to come into our country. I’m sorry,” he said. “This is a story that just seems to be more and more happening and it’s really not very pretty to watch.”…
