So Falls Another Man of God – UPDATE

UPDATE: Reports this morning, 2/15/2016, say that Justice Scalia was found with a pillow over his head and shows no evidence of having had a heart attack [ ]. “County Judge Cinderela Guevara pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body [and without an autopsy, which another official would have ordered but got there after the embalming started] — which is permissible under Texas law.” [ ]

In a world where millions of infants are murdered and people are now being openly euthanized, is it absurd to think that good Justice Antonin Scalia may have died on purpose? I’m not saying it’s likely or unlikely. But is it ridiculous? We will certainly hear that now. Whatever the coroner rules will be the case of course, when that happens.

When Al Gore tried to steal the 2000 election, they threw it to the Court. Is 2016 heading there too? Matt Drudge said recently that the supremes are getting ready to move decisively against the free press. There are many important cases pending and the Republicans don’t actually reassure about delaying an appointment. Instead they sound, to me, very weak, like a bunch of babies confined to a daycare and helpless.

When Benedict abdicated the papacy three years ago this week, was it really just because he wasn’t feeling vigorous? That certainly worked out. Francis is apparently much more vigorous, but Benedict was never that way. Benedict never expressed anything that wasn’t carefully prepared, scholarly, powerful, and very clear. He was extremely vigorous about communicating the truth, but he was never vigorous like Francis.

Francis is also a very effective communicator. He blasts out words and images in a mesmerizing way that permits him to inject a potent drop of poison into his victims while they are befuddled. He has an army of first-rate spinners creating the FrancisShow for all the world and he just needs to put his two feet on the spot blocked-out on stage, then blurt.

He travels the world and its worst tyrants, politicians, and bishops flock to meet him. The media faux-reports the roaring crowds, but the cities are always locked-down and the merchants disillusioned. Every now and then when this happens, one figure in his triumphant joy will tell the truth about Francis. We remember people like Bolivia’s Morales, Raul Castro, and particularly, Barack Obama. The fact that men like these praise Francis so profusely is quite the condemnation really. Is it for his Christian witness?

Yesterday the left-wing mayor of Dallas, Mike Rawlings, announced he will travel to frightening Juarez, Mexico to participate in Francis’ Border Stunt. He also said some very revealing things.

The Dallas Morning News reports:

“I am not a big person to go meet famous people, but the Pope isn’t famous,” Rawlings said with a small laugh. “He’s the pope. And this being a bi-national, cross-border event is a very cool idea. To participate in that is an exciting thing.”

The event is being portrayed as a restoration party for a city long seen as a blood-drenched, drug-fueled murder capital. Media reports in recent weeks have noted its steep drop in homicides, and a wholesale clean-up effort that has taken place since the pope’s visit was announced last fall.

“Ciudad Juárez is not just safer, it’s booming: new restaurants, car showrooms and other businesses are sprouting,” reported the Guardian earlier this week. “Streets once deserted after dark now have shoppers and diners. Theatrical productions, including the Vagina Monologues, have revived.”
Not only did the FrancisEffect make Juarez a completely different place overnight, but now they even find Mexican women to perform that miserable lesbian love story!

“The whole border issue continues to be a fractious thing, and if the pope can build some bridges across that border,” Rawlings said, “I think that’s a very important step.”

Rawlings, who attends First Presbyterian Church in downtown Dallas, until recently served on the Board of Trustees of Jesuit College Preparatory, from which his son Gunnar graduated in 2007. Gunnar then embarked on a series of teaching jobs at Catholic schools in Denver and Dallas, including Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep.
He’s a Democrat who wants more illegal aliens, he’s a Presbyterian on the board of a local Jesuit college, and the Archdiocese gives his son jobs. This is a Pope Francis pillar of the Catholic community! But Rawlings has been dealing with the ‘church’ for a long time.

Rawlings spoke Friday night about being taught by Jesuits at Boston College, of being steeped in the liberation theology that, simply put, says it’s necessary to commingle religion and politics to end poverty.

Pope Francis “is living that in the contemporary way,” Rawlings said. “We’re big fans of his. We were thrilled when he was announced, and he’s lived up to those expectations. Even though he can’t be in Dallas, at least he’s doing this Mass for both sides.”
“Doing this Mass?” What is a FrancisMass anyway?

Why not just come right out and say it? Francis is showing us that ‘new way of living’ they taught us at Boston College, where a ‘commingled political religion’ ends poverty once and for all.

“We were thrilled when he was announced and he’s lived up to those expectations.” Is the Mayor talking about this current trip to Mexico or the entire FrancisPapacy?

Why was Liberation Theology condemned as blatant heresy until 2013? Perhaps because it has nothing to do with Christianity, justice, or charity, and everything to do with power.

I have no way of knowing why Pope Benedict stepped down. I do know it was not helpful to the Church, nor was it in character. It was, historically speaking, a very singular event. The death of 79-year-old Justice Scalia while he was a guest on a remote ranch doesn’t suggest foul play, except for the fact that it’s a staggering defeat for the planet. Scalia was no Roberts. He was a man of God who couldn’t be bought. I can’t help thinking it seems odd and at the same time unsurprising in these cruel times. And I won’t be surprised either when Scalia’s replacement turns out to be much more ‘vigorous’ than he ever was.

President reportedly “thrilled” at opportunity to tip balance of Supreme Court

    Paul Joseph Watson – FEBRUARY 15, 2016 –

President Barack Obama was reportedly informed about the death of Antonin Scalia hours before it was publicly announced that the Supreme Court Justice had been found dead at a West Texas ranch.
The website DC Whispers, which routinely publishes controversial reports based on inside sources, asserts that Obama knew about Scalia’s death well before it became public knowledge.
“Word reached the White House hours before formal media announcements were made regarding longtime Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia having been found dead while vacationing at a Texas resort. First the speechwriters were summoned to provide the appropriate tone for Barack Obama’s remarks,” states the report.

“During that same time, Obama and Valerie Jarrett were already initiating a long-standing plan for what they viewed as a prime opportunity to make Mr. Obama relevant once again and an opportunity that the President was said to be thrilled to have before him.”
If accurate, the report will feed suspicions that foul play may have been involved in Scalia’s death.
Scalia died while staying at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a 30,000 acre luxury resort owned by Texas businessman and Democratic Party donor John Poindexter.
Confusion and contradiction surrounds the circumstances behind Scalia’s death, with Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara pronouncing the Supreme Court Justice dead of natural causes having not seen the body.
When Guevara talked to law enforcement officers on the scene, she was told “there were no signs of foul play,” but it subsequently emerged that Scalia was found with a pillow over his head.
Other officials questioned why there were no plans for an autopsy to be performed and why Scalia’s body had been quickly embalmed, a process that would destroy toxicology evidence, after being escorted to Sunset Funeral Home in El Paso by a procession of 20 police officers.
“If it had been me, I would want to know,” Juanita Bishop, a justice of the peace in Presidio, Tex., told the Washington Post.
Guevara also reversed a statement she initially made to the media claiming that Scalia had died of a heart attack, insisting that he had in fact died of “natural causes”.

In a related development, William Gheen, president of the Americans for Legal Immigration political action committee, is calling for an immediate and comprehensive investigation into Scalia’s death to determine if foul play was involved.
“Anytime a head of state, member of Congress, or the most conservative member of the U.S. Supreme Court is found dead, an extensive autopsy and toxicology examination should be both immediate and mandatory,” said Gheen. “The horrid reaction and comments about his death expressed by many liberals online illustrate that Scalia was hated by many people. His death hands the power of the Supreme Court to the modern left for the first time in American history.”
“The court can now vote, even without a replacement of Scalia, to radically change the United States of America. Scalia’s death means the Supreme Court is now very likely to rubber stamp Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty orders, tear down Republican drawn districts in many states including North Carolina, and take deep left turns on abortion, gun rights, or anything the liberals have ever dreamed of. Scalia was a solid vote against Obama’s immigration orders to be decided by April of this year. We do not contend there is a conspiracy, we contend that there should be no doubts, and the way authorities and the media are rushing conclusions will leave major doubts and legitimate concerns about a death that could lead to a radical political transformation of America to the left.”

  2. Was he Fostered so the Alinskyite Communist in the White House can bring radical change to America through a pro-abortion socialist Supreme Court appointment in the final year of his reign of terror?

Why would there NOT be an autopsy in a case like this?

  3. “Fostered”: a reference to:

Deputy White House counsel Vince Foster was found dead in Fort Marcy Park off the George Washington Parkway in Virginia, outside Washington, D.C., on July 20, 1993. His death was ruled a suicide by multiple official investigations, but remains a subject of conspiracy theories [implicating Hillary Clinton]. – Wikipedia [See also Hillary Clinton Vince Foster murder/suicide coverup]

  4. Reports are circulating that the Alinksyite-in-Chief was “thrilled” upon hearing the news that he would have an opportunity to tilt the direction of the Supreme Court toward more lefty totalitarianism.

  5. Someone like Scalia, who is a senior justice on the SCOTUS, died suddenly on a remote Texas ranch, who is hated by the leftist establishment, who made up one of the conservative votes on the Court, with the backdrop of an anti-American communist heathen in the White House just itching to have a full fledged leftist court, yet there’s no autopsy??!!
When this news first came out I was skeptical, being part of my nature anyway. But this event is far from a conspiracy theory.
These people not doing an autopsy just makes people question it even more.

  6. It’s time for Trey Gowdy to conduct hearings on the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Justice Scalia. He (Scalia) deserves nothing less.

  7. It’s Not Just Those Right-Wing Conspiracy Nut Jobs Questioning Handling of Scalia Death!

Detectives question lack of autopsy in Scalia death

Bill Ritchie, a retired deputy chief and former head of criminal investigations for the DC police, said he was dumbstruck when he learned that no autopsy would be performed. “I took a look at the report and I almost fell out of my chair,’ Ritchie told The Post from his home in Maryland. ‘I used to be an instructor in the homicide school. Every death investigation you are handling, you consider it a homicide until the investigation proves otherwise,” Ritchie said.

Sure leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Also makes you wonder about that great “conservative” state of Texas.

  8. Does anyone know if Justice Scalia is getting a traditional funeral Mass or a Novus Ordo one?
I know Justice Scalia assisted at the TLM.

    • Presumably, a Novus Ordo “Mass of Christian Burial” with the casket draped in white, the multitude of concelebranting bishops and priests vested in white, and LaDonna Cardinal presiding; the traditional Latin Mass is usually offered in the crypt (basement) of the National Shrine and more likely in one or another of the side chapels. Special permission is needed, which has been refused on more than one occasion.

  9. The Cathedral is novus ordo and there are unconfirmed reports that the body was cremated in accord with his will as well as denials of this and that it was just embalmed. The family hasn’t spoken about the matter and his son, Fr. Paul Scalia of the Diocese of Arlington, is a novus ordo priest. Until and unless his family speaks, we won’t know the truth. If left up to the Archdiocese, we may never know.

    • Thanks Colonel.
Being that Justice Scalia was a trad I thought he might of left instructions to someone verbally or in his will that at the time of his death he would want to be buried in the traditional Roman Rite.
Of course being that his death was fishy, to say the least, as you correctly state Colonel we may never know what his wishes were, or what really happened.

    • A traditional Catholic requesting in his will that he be cremated!? If so, the conspirator-assassins are going to great lengths to cover their foul deed, including altering or forging legal documents with permission of (or threats to?) the family. No open casket at a wake (if any)* or only an urn at the various funeral services would confirm such a report.

*”Lying in state” in the English-speaking world (unlike other parts of the world, including the Vatican) is usually done with a closed casket; thus, the usual practice of an open casket at a wake (if any) would dispel such a report.

  10. It is not normal for Catholics to be cremated. The practice of permitting Catholics to be cremated in order to save burial costs is questionable. In general, the popularity of cremating the dead in modern America reflects a sadistic and Manichean attitude toward the human body. It should be discouraged by all priests and bishops.
It would be extraordinarily odd and bizarre for a traditional Latin Mass-attending Catholic to request to be cremated. It is odd and bizarre for Italian Catholics. Don’t get cremated. Attend the Latin Mass. Tell your friends and family not to be cremated. Speak out against it whenever the subject comes up. The Resurrection of the Body is a dogma of the Catholic faith. Modern secular cremation was designed to attack this doctrine of the faith.

Allowing people to mourn and pray before the body of their deceased loved ones is a normal part of the grieving process following a death. This is the proper Catholic attitude toward the body of those who have died. This doctrine is reflected in the supernatural phenomenon of and grace of incorruptible saints. God himself favors the veneration of the holy who have died. Ridicule cremation whenever the opportunity presents itself among the ignorant, the unrighteous, and lapsed modernist lukewarm pseudo-Catholics suffering under the heretical gnostic Spirit of Vatican II.

  11. [It’s official!]

Mass of Paul VI. Not the Mass of St. Gregory the Great — Scalia to be Buried With “English” Mass

    Posted by Tancred
    Friday, February 19, 2016

Edit: Although Justice Atonin Scalia was a “champion of traditional Catholicism”, and was a regular participant at the Immemorial Mass of All Ages at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Great Falls, Virginia. We now know, through a representative of the [National] Shrine [of the Immaculate Conception] where the “English” Mass is to be held, that Scalia’s funeral Mass will be the Mass of Bugnini and not the Immemorial Mass of All Ages, despite the fact that his son, Father Paul Scalia, will be celebrating.

[There will mostly likely be] some scandal as Joe Biden comes up for another sacrilegious Communion*. The event can be watched, live streaming on CNN [and presumably EWTN].

[*Presumably, Cardinal Wuerl or one of his lackeys will cover for him, as has been previously done.]

  12. There’s a way for us to combat this insanity – by having traditional requiem masses offered in our traditional chapels for the soul of Antonin Scalia. For those who need a link go to – God bless.

  13. As we discussed here yesterday, Justice Scalia never had a shot (with the cast of characters in DC and in the conciliar church in DC) to get a Traditional Requiem Mass. Even if that was his request in writing or verbally.
You’re right Colonel about the requiem masses.
I know his son is a NO priest, but hopefully he knows or will learn how to say the TLM so he can say requiem masses for his father.

    • I am breaking my Lenten “fast” from posting this one and only time to relate that Justice Scalia’s son DOES offer THE Rite of the Catholic Church (a/k/a the “Latin Mass,” the “Tridentine Mass” even though the first term is redundant and the second misleading insofar as all that Quo Primum and the Council of Trent’s documents and catechism refer to IS “the Rite of the Catholic Church.”)

The NO is a schismatic, heretical protestantized / judaized innovation never formally promulgated by Montini and there is NO OTHER MASS than “the Rite of the Catholic Church” for the Western Rite, apart from approved rites such as the Dominican Rite, the Use of Salisbury (a variant in use since the 11th Century), etc.

Fr. Scalia also has assisted bishops in ordaining priests in Alexandria, VA in the traditional rite.

I’ve seen a photo of Fr. Scalia, vested properly as a Catholic priest, at such an ordination. It was recently on a “trad” forum on another website.

I just wanted to clarify the matter.

      • Good news. Thanks.

I am breaking my Lenten “fast” from posting …

        Who am I to judge?

      • Yes, that is good news.

Between Bergoglio’s latest auto demolition of what’s left of Catholic moral teaching and Justice Scalia passing I think the Lord will give our friend Gpmtrad a break about breaking his “fast” this one time.
Sometimes, especially nowadays, I find it’s better to be out in the woods somewhere without phones, computers, newspapers etc and not know what’s going on.

  14. Actually, I ‘ve got an even better idea. All traditional Catholics on this blog should send their requests for a traditional requiem Mass according to the 1962 Missal for Justice Scalia to Fr. Paul Scalia personally, care of the Diocese of Arlington, VA, with the stipulation that if the request cannot be met, it be forwarded to a priest who can fulfill the request. WHAMO!

  15. The evidence will show which Mass is being celebrated as the event is being televised on live TV. TLMs being celebrated at the Cathedral are usually done in the crypt. As for Fr. Scalia, he may not be the one making decisions on this matter. In any case we always have the option of having a traditional requiem Mass celebrated at our traditional chapels upon our request with a stipend (donation) included. That, to me, is a far better way of honoring Justice Scalia’s memory and, more importantly, praying for his immortal soul than is a Mass at the main altar of the Cathedral under novus ordo circumstances.

    • As for Fr. Scalia, he may not be the one making decisions on this matter.

That’s funny. If the family can decide that there will be no investigation of the untimely death of a “controversial” Supreme Court Justice, they can decide to have a Traditional funeral Mass.

      • CNN is now in their lead-up to the coverage of the event and the emphasis so far is not traditional but I’m inclined to give Fr. Scalia the benefit of the doubt since he is serving under an obvious modernist, Cardinal Archbishop Donald Wuerl. Fr. Scalia is scheduled to give the Homily so we shall see what unfolds.

        • It’s the Mass of Christian Burial, novus ordo, respectful but definitely not the Traditional Requiem Mass.

          • That’s a shame. We know Justice Scalia was a trad. We know, according to Gpmtrad, that his priest son is trad friendly. So why did he get a Novus Ordo funeral? If he wanted a traditional requiem Mass I can’t see his wife and son not carrying out his wish. In my opinion, if that’s the case Donna Wuerl, or some other Vatican II prelate in DC wouldn’t give the green light. The Novus Ordo is still the Novus Ordo, no matter how it’s done.

          • Fr. Scalia did an admirable job towards the end of his homily trying to focus attention on the need for forgiveness for the deceased. But, it’s still the novus ordo and eulogies seem to take precedence.

      • Maybe Donna will set it up so Fr. Scalia has to give Communion to Biden.
