Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. God-willing, priests, bishops and even cardinals who value the “Extraordinary Form” of the Mass will mandate that Mass be celebrated on every altar over which they have jurisdiction and, not only the Mass but the catechism on which that Mass is based will be used in teaching the children. Personally, I believe that the statement which begins this post is verified every day because of the Evil in the world and, yes, even in the Church at the highest levels. Is it not time for these faithful shepherds to rise up and defend Holy Mother Church, and, yes, the very world in which we live, by implementing these “extraordinary measures” regardless of the enmity it may cause among the so-called progressives? It will require, of course, unity – something which was Our Lord’s last prayer before He ascended into Heaven, but which, unfortunately has been missing among traditional Catholics in these troubling times.
The “Unity Prayer” is from the Gospel of St. John, Chapter 17, verses 11-12 “ And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are. While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
