Here We Go Again. Your Charity Is Begged.

Dearest friends, most sincerely.

Some months back, it was in no small measure that your charity was responsible for my complete recovery from an unfortunate illness.

I have no doubt that Our Lord “reads” your prayers, here on AQ.

I now am facing an even worse circumstance with which I have no power to contend, save by God’s grace.

Thank you for your prayers.

Patrick

  1. And, no, I am not aware of any physical illness issue.

It is an entirely spiritual matter. Which, as I’ve learned, can be far more disturbing.

  2. Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

    Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

    Amen.

  3. Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to Thy protection, implored Thy help, or sought Thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto Thee O Virgin of virgins my Mother. To Thee do I come, before Thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Thus I pray. Thus may it be.

  4. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on your servant Patrick.

  5. Prayers for Patrick.

  6. Prayers sent for you, Patrick.

  7. Hang in there, Patrick, we’re praying for you.

    • Remember, O most sweet Jesus, that no one who has had recourse to Thy Sacred Heart, implored its help, or sought its mercy was ever abandoned. Encouraged with confidence, O tenderest of hearts, we present ourselves before Thee, crushed beneath the weight of our sins. In our misery, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, despise not our simple prayers, but mercifully grant our requests. Amen.”

      Remember,
      O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
      was left unaided.
      Inspired with this confidence,
      I fly unto thee,
      O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
      to thee do I come,
      before thee I stand,
      sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
      despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
      Amen.

Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted.
Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection.
Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

      St. Michael the Archangel,
      defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
      and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
      by the power of God,
      thrust into hell Satan,
      and all the evil spirits,
      who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

    • Thank you one and all. Most sincerely, deeply and gratefully.

Being Irish is both a great blessing – and a “great trouble,” at times.

Perhaps that’s why a number of the greatest authors of the past two centuries were from there, to which land I’ve actually never been.

But then, neither was Our Lord or Our Lady during Their earthly lives. Although, They certainly have been, on occasion, since.

But, believe me, all my prayers for each of your intentions depart San Diego and go straight to County Cork, then upwards.

It simply has to be that way, I gather.

I cannot express adequately how appreciative I am for your prayers.

  8. Prayers, Patrick. We hope you will still be able to frequent AQ.

  9. A Rosary for you, Patrick.

  10. “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” – Winston Churchill

    Prayers from here, old friend.

  11. Hang in there Patrick.

AVE MARIA x 3 for you.

  12. Patrick, your comments on here have meant much to me. Prayers through St. Joseph for you.
