From the Sublime to the Ridiculous

Ever since Vatican II, it seems things in the Church have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. Starting with the imposition of the new Mass by Paul VI in 1970, Faith has been subject to attack in nearly every nook and cranny of the Church, even to the point now where the German Bishops’ Conference appears ready to openly defy Rome in doctrine and practice. This occurred despite Pope St.Pius V in a papal bull, Quo Primum in 1570, having declared the Tradtional Mass valid in perpetuity and despite the protestations of a number of Traditional theologians and the former Head of the Holy Office, Cardinal Ottaviani, and including the retired Pope Benedict XVI, who called the novus ordo “a banal substitute.” Of course, these are only symptoms of a malaise that affects nearly every segment of Society from the LGBT implementing Satan’s agenda to the lopping off the heads of Christians by Muslims in the name of Allah??? Is this what happens when church leaders take it upon themselves to change the liturgy? Methinks so. But even more so, it happens when the specific instructions of the Holy Mother of God are discounted as being “not applicable to our times.”

  1. “But, since God wants to save everyone, while the modernists seriously risk damning themselves, God will certainly not permit this state of affairs to continue much longer and His mighty power of justice and mercy will act in a way that the future of the Church will be brighter, so that She, without being exempt from the cross, may nonetheless walk less afflicted along the path of history.”

    May it happen without delay!
