Did Francis Commit a Sacrilege?

Pewsitter.com quotes the pontiff as saying in a Vatican Radio clip the following:  “How I wish, he said, that Christians could kneel in veneration when a poor person enters the church.” (en.radiovaticana.va/news/2015/04/28/pope_christians_should_kneel_before_the_poor_/1140244 )

The first commandment is: “I am the Lord Thy God; thou shalt not have strange gods before me” [http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/command.htm]

Concerning the poor, we have: “For the poor you have always with you: and whensoever you will, you may do them good: but me you have not always.”. [Mark Chap 14: v7]

Now we all know that we have an obligation to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, etc, but kneeling before them when they enter the Church? I dunno ’bout that.
