What Dost Thou Believe?

Act of Faith

O My God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in Three Divine Persons, Father Son and Holy Ghost. I believe that Thy Divine Son became Man, and died for our sins. and that He will come again to judge the living an the dead. I believe these all all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.

So, the Modernist will say: you must believe all that Vatican II teaches but they forget that little provision about revealed truths, expressed in the words: “because Thou hast revealed them. Not Bergoglio, or Kasper or anyone else but Thou, O Lord. Something to remember as we await the results of the “extraordinary” Synod on the Family.

  1. I was visiting a seminary where the TLM is the primary and only Mass said, and I asked one of the Priests who taught there, whom I trust and respect, ” why did they ever change the Mass, which is so beautiful to such a disaster as the novus ordo Mass?” His comment was ” they thought by making the Mass more universally appealing , that the Church would attract throngs and be the dominant Church in the new world order, the EU etc.”. Well we know that did not happen. The leaders of the Church at that time were going for “Market Share” not belief. The same mentality is going on today, Forget the Dogma, increase the Market Share. The Pope or anybody else does not have the power to change the truths that God has given us. Period ! The results of this synod whatever they are cannot change the teaching of Jesus Christ. Going for Market Share is not a valid reason for change.
