St. Bonaventure — On the One and Triune God: in print this fall

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo
Feast of the Holy Name of the BVM, Sept 12, 2014

This is just to let you know that, this fall, The Franciscan Archive is publishing in English the First Tome of St. Bonaventure of Bagnoregio’s Opera Omnia, which includes the first part of the Saint’s great summa of theology, written about 1252 A.D., that is 12 years before the Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas.

This first volume is all about the Most Holy Trinity, and explains at the university level, the Catholic Dogma and all the principal related doctrines.

You can find more information on how to get a copy at

You can download its Table of Questions from

And you can see photos of the Book at

THIS BOOK WOULD BE A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR ANY PRIEST OR MONK OR NUN OR LEARNED LAYMEN.

Great library reference.  Why even a Cardinal or Pope could profit from it!
