One would think this disease is affecting at least two of the major figures in the news today: Jorge Bergoglio and Hussein Obama. But, unlike foot-in-mouth disease I submit it is caused not by a virus but by the Father of Lies, who seeks to confuse and disorient the Faithful, whether in the Church or in secular society. The only antidote IMO is prayer and lots of it. Interestingly enough the citation above highlights the period 1965 to 1970. I can think of a couple of events during that period that may just have a bearing on the disease.
