Indiana priest discusses work as exorcist
CWN – October 31, 2012
A priest of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has discussed his work as an exorcist.
“The exorcist is trained to be a skeptic,” said Father Vincent Lambert, who initially makes referrals to a psychologist to discern if mental disorders are involved.
If no mental disorders are found, he prepares for an exorcism.
“Somebody might catch you off guard,” he says. “When you see some of the manifestations, you might be taken aback.”
One woman “started to levitate about four inches out of [her] chair,” he said. “I tell people if I hadn’t seen it, I don’t know if I’d believe it.”
