Ghana bishop concerned about government takeover of schools

The prelate who serves as episcopal chairman for education of Ghana’s National Catholic Secretariat has expressed concern about a state takeover of the management of Catholic mission schools.
The Church, said Bishop Matthew Gyamfi of Sunyani, “is the pillar in character formation and discipline at a time when the State is crying foul against indiscipline, immorality, corruption and other vices.”
