There’s a large discrepancy between the number of Americans who identify as pro-life and those who believe abortion should be outlawed.

I have often wondered (indeed, have wondered since Roe v Wade 39 years ago) if the question were put on a binding national referendum whether we could stop this once and for all. Do you think we have enough people who are truly pro-life? Or do you think there are a lot of people who say they are pro-life, but still want the option to murder if their daughters come home pregnant?
On a different note, has there ever been a nation that was ruled by consensus of the masses, as opposed to by supposed representation? Some thoughts, please.

Pro-abortionists love nothing more than to expose any inconsistencies or dishonesties perpetrated by pro-lifers. We’ve got to maintain hold of the moral high ground.
