[Maybe next time they'll keep the grant when they realize they don't have to comply with Church teachings]
Group returns CCHD grant, refuses to curb gay advocacy
CWN – August 02, 2012
A leftist group in Massachusetts has returned a $40,000 grant from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), fearful that the group would be asked to comply with Church teachings regarding homosexuality, the Boston Globe reports. But a CCHD official wrote to the group, saying that there was no need to comply with Church teachings.
The Chelsea Collaborative decided to return the CCHD grant after being told that recipients should not engage in advocacy for same-sex marriage. The Chelsea Collaborative, which strongly supports gay rights, sought to clarify the CCHD guidelines, but CCHD officials “did not answer the questions to the collaborative’s satisfaction,” the Globe said.
“We have relationships and work in partnership with many organizations at the national level which differ from the Catholic church’s teaching,” said Randy Kessler, a grant manager for the CCHD. The Globe obtained a copy of the email message I which Kessler sought to persuade the Chelsea Collaborative that they could accept the grant, provided that they did not actually sponsor a gay-pride march.
C. J. Doyle, a spokesman for the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts, remarked that the incident demonstrated “the corruption of the CCHD.”

The Chelsea Collaborative has more principals (evil as they are) than the USCCB’s CHHD. Don’t give a cent to any of the USCCB’s appeals.
I think you meant “principles,” although “principals (evil as they are)” may have been a Freudian slip meaning that the Chelsea Collaborative is headed by evil men.
